Let’s face it - he’s likely to go on and be a very good striker. But it sounds like his ego goes way beyond his achievements ‘to date’.

I still find it ridiculous that we have given him permission to be so ‘present’ over there. Club tracksuits and travelling with the squad etc. That should only be done if the deal is complete - and if the deal is complete, announce it.

 

It's just a question of how much we will be told about transfer fee etc.

I'm hearing they are currently suspended from this due to what has been described as "geographic issues". Not sure if this can be resolved during Suarez' contract but I expect there will be specific clauses in the contract that kick in if it isn't.

I'm hearing he's actually signed for Malmo from Granada for €25m after 35 mins (a nice quick profit that), so no, it's not an own goal.

 

If you honestly think it's OK that we've sold a first team player - one that a lot of people were excited to see play for us - without even officially communicating it to the fans whatsoever, whilst he strolls around in another clubs gear getting off of their team bus, then I honestly don't know what to say to you.

It's completely bizarre. Literally never heard anything like it. That's the way this club operates now though and our fans will always desperately try to find a way to defend the indefensible.

 

TVOR, I can never figure out if many of the in-jokes on here actually go over your head, or your account is just one of the several that I suspect has been set up by @wfcmoog and you've got us all on strings.

 

I'd imagine the deal for Suarez is all but done but both clubs - Granada haven't announced him signing for them no more than we've announced him leaving us - could be waiting for international clearance to be given before making it official. I's dotted & t's crossed blah blah blah.

And if it is 99.99% done, it makes sense for Granada to have him in & around their squad for integration purposes and it was made totally clear Ivic didn't want him hanging around London Colney.
