There have been differing reports about the amount that Granada will pay to sign Suarez. However, several Spanish publications (including El Mundo and Heraldo) have claimed during the past 24 hours that Granada will be paying €15 million in different payments. Heraldo mentions that Suarez did not want to play in the Championship (the second division of England) and that his preference was to play in Spain. Granada was particularly attractive for him because his wife comes from that city and the transfer fee will be the most expensive in the entire history of Granada.
