The Pozzo's really don't see any value in defenders do they? Vast majority were freebies on the wrong side of 30. A good defender these days can fetch £50-75m... I'd love to see us splash out on a really top defensive prospect. Good to see hear about action to replace Watson though.
Perhaps the powers that be believe that Gracia can work with what we have defensively. Get Prodl, Cathcart and Kiko back to match fitness and (whisper it) maybe things don't look so bad? An upgrade on Watson must be the priority, and I assume another attacker will only come in if Okaka gets his move.

This is a good signing. For 2 reasons. Firstly coz I wanted him here in January 2017 secondly it takes the pressure off Richarlison on the left and gives us another attacking/creative outlet injury permitting. And Carillo can buzz off to Benfica where he said he cant wait to get back to.

Deulofeu can play left or right I believe so that means we can rest both Rich and Carrillo. Although there is no option to buy that could change come the summer. They’ve not actually likened him to Étienne Capoue directly, more that he’s got all the skill in the world but half the time can’t be bothered and he’s mentally weak etc. The overriding theme is that he only has one lung though.
