Palace in the semi, Everton in the final (like quite a few on here). Palace in the semi for personal reasons and I want to play them at Wembley again. Can't guarantee we'll both get through so this would at least mean a Wembley rematch. Everton in the final for revenge! Don't really want the Manure/Hammers as firstly it will be up in the air again until a couple of weeks time and that was annoying this last round, and secondly they are probably the 2 strongest in-form teams. Personally though I think that Arsenal were the toughest team left last round so we shouldn't really fear anyone.
Palace in the semis, played them twice, still have to play Everton (and potentially West Ham) before the semi, and if they beat us that would just make me a nervous for the weeks building up to the game.
Palace have most of their goal threats fit again, and on that Wembley pitch will stretch us. I'd be happy with Everton as I believe we are good enough to nullify their attacking threat and very capable of scoring.
We are going to find it very difficult if we dont get Palace ( which could go either way) I think I would rather play Man Utd than West Ham or Everton as they both have more flair and match winners in their team than Man Utd. We were very unlucky to lose to United in both games this season and I think their luck would run out against us in a third meeting this season.
Another reason to be cheerful in the run-in (not just the cup run): Unless we get Man Utd, thanks to yesterday's heroics, we will have avoided defeat to ALL the teams we have left to play. And the only teams we have failed to beat are Everton (played very well at their place and probably should have won, we were leading when Jurado went off late on) and West Brom (our best home performance at the Vic when we didn't win, probably the most one-sided 0-0 I've seen in our favour). The last four fixtures are against teams we have all beaten - chance to rack up some more doubles!

What, the Wembley pitch that is basically the same size as the Vicarage Road and most other PL pitches?
By that logic, we were unlucky not to beat Everton as well. The FA Cup is very evenly matched for the first time in years at the semi final stage. Genuinely any team left will think they can win it rather than the sickening status quo of a couple of the 'big 4' plus a mid table Premier League side and a Championship side you usually have at this stage.
I don't want Palace because our play-off final against them was so anti-climactic, I just don't want to come all this way for a repeat of that game. I'm fine with anyone else.
Agreed. I just don't like Palace. Manure please. We have a decent chance of beating them and won;t be too upset if we don't. If we lose to palace it would bee annoying and would also make for a ****ty final.
God only knows what the FA will do tonight given this is the normal point where the balls go on the radiator ahead of the draw and ensure the two of the 'big 4' don't get drawn together. The bloke who does that will have to be given the night off I guess.
Because of international breaks and such stuff, there's a huge gap between the QFs and the SFs..much longer than usual.. Semi Finals often used to fall on Grand National Weekend in early April.. We will have 41 or 42 days to wait!
Should at least allow the club to have a well thought out and leisurely ticket selling arrangement this time, rather than the 3 weeks they normally get for the Play Off Final or 4 days for yesterday!
True! I'd be surprised if our league form wasn't affected up to the Semi final though..it oftens seems to happen that way!
FA Cup Semi Final Records... Man Utd played 27 won 18 lost 9 Everton played 25 won 13 lost 12 West Ham played 7 won 5 lost 2 Palace played 3 won 1 lost 2 Us played 5 won 1 lost 4 Of the 5 sides left, only West Ham actually won their last FA Cup Semi..under Pardew...in 2006 (v Boro) Everton lost their last one in 2012, United in 2009, Us in 2007 and Palace in 95.
In each of our FA Cup semi finals we have only scored one goal in each. So we'd better be tight at the back if that trend continues.
It's fate we will win the cup this season as we were the first team out the hat for the 3rd round Draw
In the recent history of the cup, I wonder if there's ever been a weirder run than Palace's? Since it started, they've not won a single league match. Yet in the cup they've knocked out 3 PL sides, plus Reading, all at the first time of asking.
Terrific draw. But remember..it's not about fate, revenge or name's on the cup..or any of that stuff..it's about two sides doing their damndest to each try and reach their second ever cup final. It's all about what happens on the day. Skill, luck, injuries between now and then etc. Gued and Watson versus their old team, Adebayor versus the one who nearly signed him. Etc etc. For only the second time in our history we may have a cup semi against a team LOWER than us in the league. A team we beat last time out. Bring it on
