It's absolutely pointless getting in new players with a manager who doesn't want to be here. If he really thinks Gray is better than Okaka then he should be managing in the second division.

As I said on the severely depressed shoutbox earlier. With the attitude of the current squad we are mid lower table championship, flirting with relegation. Attitude and desire mean so much. Half this lot don’t give pizza and figs for Watford. We would lose to Wolves, Leeds, any top third champ sides no one flair player is turning that around. Doucoure is excellent when he plays. We have some good players - in midfield but the good ones are injured. The defence just isn’t. Upfront - Deeney needs to leave, Gray ( bless him) tries to his limited ability, Richarlison we should keep and nurture but he is ******* exhausted and has carried us.
That was depressing and I'm in the concerned camp. 2 weeks ago on the way to Burnley I thought we'd have got 4-6 points from these past 4 matches. Instead we have nothing and only 2 goals scored. Grinding out some draws would have been fine. Red cards and injuries haven't helped as the team is picking itself

Gray's first touch today would of looked poor in non league football. Okaka would of been better suited starting this match as I can't remember one ball played in the channels for Gray to run on to. Really missed Doucoure today and I hope he's benefited from a rest. Richarlison looks tired, Pererya looks scared, Cleverly seems of the pace and out of ideas. I'm not even wasting my time commenting on the defence
Typical that Gray is made the scapegoat again. What service did he get today?. Watford attacking play was awful. yes yes we know Okaka should start but he and Silva had an altercation early in the season you lot sound like a broken record. Gomes was to blame today letting in a crap shot. Shouldve ended an underserved 0-0. But a draw all the same. Richarlison is also 'out of form' in front of goal, guilty of another missed chance today. Just coz he is one of our best players don't mean he should get away scot free from criticism when he messes up.
He's been messing up for weeks. He needs a rest. He won't get one because our coach is either busy alienating our other players or doesnt give a ****.
Should of ended 0-0, Brighton should of had 3 or 4, They wanted it more were the better team and if we got a draw it would of been undeserved.
What a sh*t matchday experience Brighton is. Imagine having to get a train to your home games every game. Soulless.
1. Kabasele fires the ball into Cleverley. Not the greatest technician. 2. Janmaat might as well be a lampost. Allows Gross to cut in and have acres of space and time to pick a spot 3. Gomes. Pitiful effort to keep a relatively weak shot out. He has had issues getting down low as his age increases. And we seem to love giving the ball away over in turnovers, needless fannying around at the back with the ball looking for an option or chip/lob passes when the simple pass is best. Not to mention the number of times when crossing opportunities are spurned.
I for one have not been on Gray's back but even when the service was good he did very little. Now he is a liability and Okaka must be given a proper run out. Thankful that we have Doucoure and Zeegelaar back for Lester. We need to get the first goal on Boxing Day just to get some confidence back. Last minute defeats at Everton and Palace have taken there toll. Our best players are currently injured, suspended or knackered. Clear signals that some will be shipped out in January.
