Yep, arriving around midday. Cans on the beach if the weather's nice. Might go earlier if its really sunny.
Ten days out according to Leventhal. Should be available for Spurs. Not three effing months as previously reported.
I don't know how correct this is but it looks like this was their defence on Saturday. A brutal lack of pace there, even Sema could have some joy down that right side.
Was great to hear Leventhal's transfer exclusives on FTRE: Player X will leave if the right offer comes in. If it doesn't, player X will stay. This guy's exclusives are 2nd to none. Don't forget this is also the guy who said Dennis wasn't signed to be a #9, doh!! According to Adam 'in the dark' Leventhal, Sarr is definitely staying. Personally I'm pretty sure if someone offered his market value (currently £60m) he'd be gone. I'd like to thank Leventhal for using his expert knowledge to inform us there must be more going on between the club and Will Hughes than we know (hello!!) but of course Adam doesn't actually know what it is. However, it doesnt stop him adding to the negative narrative of 'bad hughes' to keep his puppet masters happy. He does however exclusively reveal Lyanco wont be joining, citing 3 anonymous sources who know everything. I can now reveal the identity of these 3 ITK's. They are none other than Troy's instagram 'model' gf, the BigMainTalisMan himself and the ghost of Cliff Holton. Super sleuth Leventhal does it again. I'm happy to report the 40 or so minutes I spent listening to this drivel wasn't entirely wasted as I was simultaneously playing with my cojones. As a male I consider being able to do any 2 things at the same time to be a huge evolutionary success story regardless of what those 2 things actually are.
With Lamptey still out injured, I think we might be in luck. We just need to refrain from punting long balls towards Dunk.
Can already feel the over confidence bubbling over amongst the fanbase. Our only ever Pl. victory against Brighton was when they turned up at the vic 3 years ago still wearing their flip flops. It'll be a tough old game. I'm guessing theyll make it hard for us to hit them on the break. This one could be more about movement in and around the box than counter attack. Villa came at us like a lamb to the slaughter. Can't see Brighton making the same mistake.
Pascal Gross and Adam Webster is an odd set of choices at full back. I guess Lamptey is still injured then.
Yes, the unfeasibly tall left back Dan Burn is still on their books. He was spotted in pre-season with his mates Dunk and Duffy, that's him in the middle... Unfortunately bad news. He's out injured for Saturday. Brighton's medical team is on a par with our own and have just diagnosed a leg injury that might keep him out for a little while. Not certain who BHA will be picking as this week's sacrificial lamb for Ismaila.
Kiko and King available. Kucka might be available and will be assessed (KKK) Special K's Team News: Brighton v Watford - Watford FC
They've got a bit of an aerial threat from set pieces, wonder if it's time for Sierralta to come back in?
Team News. ▪️ Joshua King and Kiko Femenía have returned to full training this week and will be available for the weekend. ▪️ Juraj Kucka is a doubt for the trip to Brighton with a minor thigh muscle injury, however he will be assessed before the weekend. ▪️ João Pedro is continuing his recovery from a knee injury sustained last month and Nathaniel Chalobah has still got diarehea.
Almost forgot to read the rest of the article after I got lost in Kiko's eyes, like a rabbit in headlights.
Graham Potter has confirmed Brighton are still without Tariq Lamptey, Joel Veltman, Dan Burn and Danny Welbeck for Watford's visit.
Obvs his injury 'exclusives' are accurate. Just a shame he doesnt write about anything revealing in relation to the club. He's more of a PR guy than a journalist unfortunately.
I do like Dharmesh and he is a good watch. However, his "making a few calls" would have been texting the other two nimrods on the transfer center and asking what they think.
Presumably Dennis is fine after his issue against Villa, given he was not listed in the update. Certainly hope that's the case. He looked very useful indeed.
When we got relegated Nate felt like the bottom had fallen out of his world. Now he feels like the world's falling out of his bottom.
Will definitely be a tough game, especially as it’s their first game at home in a packed out stadium. The atmosphere will be electric. Important that our boys don’t get intimidated by the noise. Would be good to get an early goal to silence the crowd. They are missing some key players in the back. We know that Sarr will be looking forward to whoever is playing LB for them (Gross or March), as he will have too much for them. Fully expect them to do a better job than Villa did doubling up on him though. On paper we have the better team in the majority of areas, however we are evenly matched in CM, you could even make a case that they might be slightly better than us there. They severely lack pace at the back though and with Dennis and Sarr, they will have no chance in a foot race. They are a big side though and are definitely a threat from set pieces. The nice thing is Potter likes to play football, which I actually think will play into our hands. They will feel the pressure of wanting to win their first home game, and might try to press/pressure us too much. There will definitely be space in behind if they do. Again though, the crowd will be the extra man they need. I really do think it’s vital for us to quiet them quickly. This is a game I believe we will win, but it will be tight. Our squad depth is better than most of those around us and I think that will come into in this game. I’m hoping Xisco will start Cucho over Sema and Sierralta over Kaba. Not because Kaba did anything wrong against Villa, in fact rewatching the entire 90mins, Kaba had a very good game and was more assured than Ekong. I’m only keeping Ekong for his height as I think we will need it. My starting 11 Bachmann Cathcart Ekong Sierralta Masina Etebo Louza Cleverley Sarr Dennis Cucho Keeping Cathcart in the squad for his height and the fact Brighton don’t have much pace outwide. I would then bring King on around the 70th minute to let him run at already tired legs after chasing Cucho, Dennis and Sarr for 70 minutes. What I think Xisco will do Bachmann Kiko Ekong Kaba Masina Etebo Gosling Cleverley Sarr Dennis Sema Watford 2-1 Brighton (Sarr and King to score for us).
Spot on. Brighton's main goal threat is from their big CBs at set pieces. If we have Sierralta and Cathcart in, we can protect against any sneaky corner goals, and still completely block out their forwards. I've always thought March looks okay whenever I've seen him, with a yard or two of pace, so I'd hope Brighton play a CB out of position. I think we'll win the CM battle if we are allowed to play Tufan, or if we play Louza, but they'll outdo us if Gozza plays.
I expect Brighton to sit back against us and try and nullify our pace advantage, if he is fully fit I'd play Kilo to help Sarr. That and his pace will be needed for the counter.
