Agreed! I don't know who the bloody hell this bloke is or what he's like but I bet he's better than Gav! :]]
"Ball winning midfielder with great passing vision" ... sounds like Aidy is indeed trying to replace Mahon.
Great, Another player we have never heard of who won't play for a long time... Also, a club looking for premiership ambition should not be scouting players, should be getting in big money players!
Congratulations. If there was an award for Most Ridiculous Comment of the Week, you'd have just won it
:dismay: Because the better the scouting network a club has - the better transfers they will make. How do you suppose Arsenal got all their great prospects? Do you think Kolo Toure or Eboue or Traore or Fabregas just came strolling by one day and said "Hi, I want to play for Arsenal" .. ?
Well all clubs scout young players you fool. It's part of football. No one at WFC is suggesting that this kid is anything but one for the future. So where's the harm? In fact I'm impressed that the club's scouting network now stretches further than Scotland. It's a sign of development off the field.
If this guy is of the standard of what normally comes out of River Plate he's gonna be a bit surprised when he sees the style of football we play..
Exactly why he won't be allowed anywhere near the 1st team for a while. 6 months of learning to hit the ball 70 yards is on the cards for him
Putting 2 and 2 together, I'd say this is a result of Keith Burkinshaw's friendship with Ricky Villa. I remember watching a programme a few months back, about Sputs, which mentioned that Keith had been driving around Argy with Villa looking at players. I was hoping that the next Maradonna was on his way to London Colney imminently.
I hope he gets given some kind of chance...not going to come all the way over here just to sit in the Reserves. Knowing Aidy he will drop Williamson and still play Mahon!
