listened to the florist commnetry - they were impressed with wfc, the attacking policy, enetetainment value and reckoned it could have been 4-4 on another day..
what is more worrying than 4-2 to cardiff away and 1-0 at florist away - is 0-1 at home to brighton and 1-1 at home to palsarse...

the boo's will be ringing around the vic from the loyal scum canuts in the near future...

this season only matters that we don't go down, which we won't now - though i preached we were certian relegation fodder up until xmas i am wrong... we still have a club and the financial side is straightening itself u ornssssssssssssssssss

how's da handicap bet goin? u still in? see the geezer put up the 1.8 for £8k and after the Derby win put up 1.6 for £8k -

I checked me calculations last night - Swansea are two points betetr than I had, wfc are bank on the nose for what i predicted and qpr and cardiff as well.. along with Barnsley and Millwall in with a shout, i had a very sneeky £3 on Hull at 510/1 which i do not expect to come in but i quite fancied them as the team from lower regions to make a push...

I'm really starting to worry now.

We're still not on the magic 52 points, but whilst some people were popping premature champagne, I believe now that we may struggle to get past the finish post.

I can genuinely see us losing 10-15 on the bounce.

Just got back.Good turn out must have been 1500 orns or so.Yes florist time waste like f--k.Hodson has to be replaced by Bennett, lost count how many times he got caught on the ball today.Thought Drinkwater looked quite handy tuesday night, but today looked well out of his depth which im sure he wont be in the end.Played alright overall, could have been 3 3 another day.Nearly forgot the doyley shot which was just tipped over the bar from 25 yrds, that was nearly worth the trip alone.Nothing to worry about we have been punching well so far this season and theres still plenty of games left to.........may be just maybe

get your money on wfc relegation or better still lay the bet on the points handicap coupon in the championship.

the 2.52 is an excellent value lay based on you genuinely seeing wfc losing 10-15 on the bounce....

you can win about £200. its a dead cert..

do all hard core meat eaters worry as much as you moogy? go and feast on a nice bit of rump....will cheer u up.

    don't worry be happy :eating:

You might as well be writing in Mandarin.

I've no idea what any of that laying on of hands against the coupon championship thing is.

Just got back, very dissapointing second half although in the first half we did play some good stuff mostly coming through Buckley. Him, Taylor and Eustace were by far our best players. Definatley a hint of last season there, where we are playing some decent stuff but creating nothing. No complaints about the result

Doyley really could have scored, it was a good save by Camp. :doom:

We needed to shoot more, we passed it around in/near the box too much. There were several crosses that went across the goal but no one was able to connect with them.

I couldn't see the fouls on Buckley very well, but think it should have been a penalty. Just before the fouls the ref had booked a Forest player for diving, so if Buckley was diving he should have been booked, if not the fouls should have been penalties - simples!

The highlight of the match was the stewards handing out paper towels for people to dry their seats because they wanted us to sit down! :naughty:

And I had a drunk tramp sitting next to me in the first half, who luckily couldn't find his seat again in the second half.

Pretty much what a couple of mates said!

Drinkwater wasn't that impressive they felt..and the front 2 seemed a little off the pace.

Malky seemed pretty certain we should've had a penalty but then I guess he would!

Forest had their chances too by the sounds of things.

Went down to early and was hard to break forest down from there they sat back and just tried to counter attack, we did create a few opportunities and Buckley looked like he could create something in bits of the game but to be honest it was a bit frustrating to watch at times with our passing at times.

Yeah Drinkwater has nothing on Mutch although we need to give him a chance. We were on the backfoot majority of the game and they could have had few, Earnshaw most notably missed an absoloute sitter

Just heard the interview with Malky and he says both incidents with Buckley in the 2nd half were definite penalties as does the interviewee!!

Also, didn't realise it was the Forest no. 28 booked for diving. If so he can count himself lucky as he should also have been booked in the 1st half for blocking Drinkwater taking a free kick instead of only getting a talking to from the ref.

Just seen the goal, looks like Hodson got shrugged off slightly easily and let the wideman get the ball in.

Men in the middle didn't seem to be picked up and doesn't look like they were being marked tightly enough

The ball boys who were poor to useless in the first half stopped operating altogether in the second half. Is this a legitimate tactic? If so let's use ourselves at home as soon as we get a lead....

Our midfield is too lightweight and doesn't create anything.
Drinkwater was poor. I hope he gets better as he settles in.
Forest did a lot of diving all over the pitch. The ref was dire.

Thought Forest were there for the taking yesterday, but unfortunately if you don't shoot you don't score.Awful defending for the forest goal.Marvin sordell is supposed to be a striker so why not have a shot when you have a clear sight of goal eight yards out rather than try to cut back inside?
Buckley scared the life out of them in first half but didnt think we got him involved as much in the second half.Drinkwater looked poor, but only as poor as Mutch did when he first arrived.
    Finally,great support,nearly 1600 orns!!

Went yesterday, had enough chances in the first half after forest scored very cheaply it must be said. As said above, Sordell had a great chance but decided to cut back when he had a great chance to roll it into the corner. In the second half there wasn't very many chances for us, although Graham did have a good chance. We had them back in their own half for the majority of the second half, with them only having a few breaks towards the end. Unlucky not to come away with something IMO.

Yeah it seemed there were a good number of us :sign15:

I found it annoying that the tier above us were the most vocal Forest fans, it made it difficult to work out when to sing, and they probably drowned us out abit.

Who was fouling when Eustace's goal was disallowed in the second half?

Buckley played two beautiful low balls into the danger area first half, nobody attacked the back post though!

Good to meet the East Midland group - what a great club the County have, TV's in every booth - well impressed. Cheap beer too!

It sounds like we where the better side and showed an improvement from recent performances, we just arnt creating the chances that we used too or for that matter taking the chances we are creating. Conceading such a soft goal so early on didnt help mind.

  24. The one in front of us looked like Chesney from Corrie.

It is a tactic we used all the time under Boothroyd. The multi-ball system would stop half way through the second half if we were leading, with the kit man going round collecting them all up from the kids. It happens all the time.

I was looking at the BBC website.

They are still showing Burnley, PNE and Bristol City as three successive home games for us.

Obviously the Reading game is now back to its original date, so your listing above is quite correct.

Sounds like we dominated the second half, unlucky not to atleast get a point but we need to put our chances away.

Forest remind me a lot of ourselves under Boothroyd in 05/06, but with far more resources at their disposal obviously.

A direct team - not hoof - who get the ball in the box as often as possible, who employ cynical tactics, love to time waste, p!ss about with the multi-ball system etc and are more concerned with scoring than conceding.

I hate Billy Davies, and most people hated Boothroyd. Similarities indeed.

I agree they wasted time, but it didn't go un-noticed,the ref did add on 5 minutes at the end.

The Notts County bar thing was great. Best part of a frustrating day.

I hate playing Forest. Obvious timewasting tactics, at times dirty, and always whinging.

Very frustrating that noone got on the end of a few great balls into the danger area by Buckley in the first half, and Doyley almost scored a screamer. As for the Sordell chance that keeps getting mentioned, the angle was very tight, and if he pulled it back a little tighter to his feet, it would have been the perfect thing to do, opening up the area in which he could shoot, with his more comfortable left foot. The only way he could have scored without pulling it back there would have been in the near post, if i recall correctly - so it would have had to have been a goalkeeping error really, rather than a good shot to score.

Frustrating, but onwards and upwards. I hope Doyley isn't too bad (haven't checked any websites since the game yesterday so i might find out in a minute).

Yes, I remember it well as part of AB's "managing the game" strategy. It just seemed that yesterday they stopped operating altogether.....

Also, in the cup tie against Brighton we started with single ball, then switched to multi ball, but only on the Main Stand side!

Well impressed with the turnout, not impressed with the stewards. Espeicially the bald head steward who I think must have been Hitlers grandson. He even told one Orn off for singing. Good atmosphere espeicially round the bar at half time.

As far the game went Hodson had a mare, Graham and Sordell seemed confused who was going to attack the ball and out of sorts, Eustace looked a tad rusty, Forest won every second ball, Forest also took time wasting to the max, the ref had a mare and Doyley nearly scored from 25 yards. On our day we wouldve beaten Forest but sadly we didnt play as we know we can. We didnt get our passing game together til the death.

Just to say on the way home on the bus, all the Forest fans were very complimentary about us, as were all me Forest mates. Said we were the best team theyd played by far.

I still think if we can keep hold of Malky and keep bringing players through the ranks, we'll be a force to reckon with in a couple of seasons.

  34. I actually think the chance of the game was the one on one Danny missed.

First half was an excellent game, Buckley ripped Gunter to shreds and put 3 or 4 wonderful balls across the face of goal. Second half Forest closed the game out.

Highlights for me was Lloydinho's shot and then about a minute later Loach's save was ridiculous.

What absolute rubbish, we would be doing well to 'timewaste' for 90 minutes. You were second best im afraid.
