Indeed Padds, and it'd be more of an outside bar under a ripped marquee in the elements, rather than a club.
Who was there for the 5-1. Unbelievable! We outsang them, because it was "only 12 days to Wembley", 3-0 down after 20 minutes, we was saving ourselves and were RUBBISH!!!! 1984. And 1-0, Bassett's 3rd game in charge, we was RUBBISH!!! Lost 1-0, and Bardsley got sold after that match for doing a backheel. 1987. We'll lose tomorrow 'n' all
I think more clubs have been this season and I think Forest expect us to come and attack rather than just trying to defend....
thanks mate - and thanks prentice. looking forward to the game tomorrow. leaving extra early just in case (that isn't even a joke) come on you golden boys :badge:
2-1 or 2-0 Forest I think, but it really could go either way with any score as they do have injuries.
Welcome J&H, never mind Paddy, he just needs a steak and a pint of Guiness :drinking:. Anyway it's good news for Watford today, as both the girls teams lost this morning, and there has never once this season been a Saturday when they both lose AND so do Watford. Draw.
Got a feeling we will sneak this one and take away another home record...... QPR, Millwall and now Forest. COYH!

Wichelow should be starting, **** developing other peoples players for them otherwise not a bad showing, anyone who expected us not to lose today is pretty naive, we wont go down this season, thats all that matters
Conceding within 1 minute and managing 1 shot on target in 95 minutes is 'not a bad effort'? It's far from a disasterous result but it sounds like a pretty poor performance.
Just not a good effort either. Not acceptable to concede within 52 seconds. And then just when you think they'd learn their lesson we go and give Earnshaw a free shot at goal five yards out within a minute of the restart in the second half.
Forest on 6 consecutive wins now so it would have been hard to break that form whilst they were at home
Keep the faith! Malky will sort the full backs and Cowie will soon be back - Then watch us start flying again
We sounded unfortunate on the radio not to get a draw at least. Open game, we didn't go there to draw we went there to win and on another day, much like Palarse last week, we could have done. Shame to give away a goal so early, haven't seen it so can't really pass judgement but that is football really. Things didn't quite fall for us as they haven't been doing recently, and when they do Sordell gives it a big air kick and the chance is gone. I'm sure there will be the usual angry people on here, shouting and swearing about how sh!t we are, how Malky got everything wrong, how we should never concede and always score and how awful Forest are etc etc. In reality, we were unfortunate to not get something out of the game, on another day we would have done. That is football. Sounded like a good effort.
Two pages of this thread and no Robin Hood jokes yet...shameful. Wow, 20,000 orns!? A drop in the bucket to Bill Gates PYA though. I expect Paddy to start building a v-space shuttle to the v-moon soon.
Fair point but how many off target? Typical though..we only give one away with our defence and but fail to score. No doubt next week will be 3-3. Unlike Stu I won't be going into panic mode but just need to get a couple of wins at home to keep our position fairly steady. Bottom 3 all lost away..
Anyone whose seen Forest play knows that they just sit behind the ball and timewaste as soon as they take the lead/equalize away from home, I wouldnt worry about our lack of chances
