Not disregarding the two messages at all. As I have just said, I believe that fitst message to be the seers, so I am not going for Daft Row. You are my main suspect regardless of how flimsy my reasons are.

 

I can see your point, however, if we voted for someone outside of the messages, unless we strike gold and they turn out to be evil, we learn nothing. If we kill DR and he turns out good, then we are far better informed, IMO.

I agree we have little to go on at this point, but we need to use the messages, not speculation to narrow down the suspects. As I say, we may have to hang a few villagers to find a wolf.

 

To not vote based on the messages is...well... Daft!

It for the very least could confirm Norway's alleigencies as good and confirms which message style is which.

 

There's a time stamp attached as to when Otter received both messages.

 

Correct. Unless Meh says he's stayed with them the person won't know. If Meh is unlucky and stays with a chosen villager or a traitor they die with their accumulated knowledge.

 

Agree that it's odd to be basing votes of little to nothing.

Daft Row saif he was happy to be viewed by the seer. If he was evil I severely doubt he'd have done that.

He would have just tried to slip away from the conversation un noticed rather than continue to ask that.

Vote for him if you want but I reckon he and Norway are good.

This is a bit crappy. I think Daft Row is probably good as I'm leaning towards the second message each day being the Wolf. But... it's hard not to lynch someone who's been named when there is so little else to go on this early.

 

Or it could be a bold bluff, though I agree on balance it's less likely of the two.

Main problem is if we lynch a villager who's good instead, you've aided Evil anyway and DR will face increased scrutiny until he's inevitably lynched because of it.

 

Yes it is awkward , but logically if you believe message 1 is the Seer you cant vote for DR , If you vote for DR then in essence you are saying message 2 is the seer (incidentally I am struggling with that).

 

But we HAVE to vote for someone.

 

Wasn't Meh saying that he wanted DR viewed by the seer?

Not saying Daft Row is anything, but saying you don't mind being viewed, when someone has said they think you should be viewed is evidence of nothing.

Good observation. Could be nothing, but could be something.

 

Because we have nothing concrete to go on, I'm putting my vote on DR. Not because I think he's evil but because if we don't and we lynch a Good villager (Given the numbers left that's likely to occur) he'll face increased scrutiny and will potentially make clarifying further messages difficult as we wouldn't be able to say in full confidence whether he is Good or Evil.

Just odd. If Daft does turn out to be Evil then this has to be revisited to some degree.

To be fair, that wasn't exactly what I said. I was just saying that someone saying "I don't mind if the Seer views me" in a game of Werewolf is as credible as a politician accused of scandal who declares "I have nothing to hide"

I also clarified by saying that I am not convinced that DR is EVIL, but that isn't based on him saying he doesn't mind being viewed.

I think miked2006 is the traitor. He would know the identities of the wolves. I really don't think the second messages each day are the Seer therefore I think Daft Row is Good. Miked2006 has been nudging away, trying to get everyone to think that the people who posted later yesterday are more suspicious. I know I'm good, I think Daft Row is good and if that's the case the Traitor would know that too but it would serve his purposes to suggest otherwise.

Additionally, his message this morning along the lines of "that's what I would do if I was the seer" was of no help at all, as it tipped the wolf off to something that would've been useful to include in a message. Finally, he's said he can't play much as he's busy at work, so I think he's being a more bold traitor than he would've been otherwise.

Few hours left, but my vote is heading towards Mike unless something drastically changes (like I've missed what roles there are, and there is no traitor...)

So your suggesting that Harrow could be the traitor in this scenario? Would he really be so bold as to pin his colours to the mast so early on?

For what its worth at the moment I will be voting for Daft Row due to the lack in other evidence around other players. At least we learn something about the providence of the messages so far based on lynching Daft row. It would pretty much confirm Norway to be good, if we took both of the second messages as the wolf.
