I don't tend to get over such events.
I'm still not overly happy at not making the Hertfordshire U 18 team!

 

My abiding memory of their fans is having to use empty beer bottles to prevent them storming the hired double-decker we'd travelled to the game in once we'd parked up in the coach park. Akin to being attacked by a horde of ravening orcs, except they were even uglier. The kids and women in our group hunkered down on the top deck as we spent about 10 minutes repelling all boarders before OB turned up and chased them off.
