Brazil's first U-20 friendly international is not until 15th April in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...-look-set-lose-brazilian-forward-three-games/
Craig Cathcart continues his style of ghost defending where he just watches you do what you want to do, in this instance just let you cross in to our box unchallenged. Awful, awful defending.
Completely the wrong group of players for the Championship. Too slow,no urgency and tippy tappy. The so called robust ones are strangers to the football. The skilled are either too lightweight and or think they've just to turn up and teams will roll over for them.
At least this finishes any possibility of us making the playoffs where we would have got absolutely smashed
He won't. He'll have signed a gagging clause. Stewards massing half an hour early to prevent pitch invasion apparently.
glad we didn't make the nearly 4 hr round trip today, the result was predictable. Wilder may as well step away now with his dignity rather than being cast aside by the Pozzos. Would be interesting to see if playing with no manager would make any difference at all....
Still the players will be clapped and cheered off. Wilder will surely consider his position at the club. Many fans said on this forum that our squad was too good. Now stand up and tell me that you were sadly wrong. The worst Watford team for many years. What a total shower of sh*t
Did I hear a very brief ‘Gino Pozzo, get out of our club’? Literally for about 5 seconds mid other chants of discontent, main one being ‘you’re not fit to wear the shirt’
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, Britt Assombalonga, Doesn't mean we're over, you actually scored.
Most fight shown all season at the end .. In the wrong way ! Actually started ok but once they scored usual rubbish .
I think it's fair to say Wilder is failing his audition to be our manager next season - we've somehow managed to get even worse under him! What an absolute mess we've become. It'll be a huge job in the summer. We actually got pretty fortunate early on - with VAR I reckon Porteous would have seen red for his lunge on the edge of the box which landed on the back of their players' achilles that he got a booking for. His effort has been there, but he's been too rash and over-eager at times lately, losing his position and making silly decisions in his desperation to make an impact. Playing 3 at the back at home to a Huddersfield team sitting deep just didn't look right, especially when two of those 3 CBs are a shot Cathcart, and Hoedt who seems incapable of defending against anyone with pace. I hope we've already agreed a fee with Milan for JP because he's been atrocious the last few weeks, and otherwise his value will be plummeting by the game. He stupidly gave the ball away for their first goal in typical fashion - he had a straight-forward pass to a man in space available to him, instead he tries to dribble passed two men and play a through-ball which was never on. Trying and failing to do the fancy stuff while forgetting the basics. Louza was hardly in the game. Kone and Ferreira very much works in progress. Another January window that's not really done what we needed it to. Asprilla was the only real bright spark today (along with Sema again) even though he missed an easier chance than the one he scored, and then to top it off managed to get injured. Sarr showed a brief reminder that even at 50% effort he's our best player, but we won't see him play a meaningful game for us again. Assombalonga isn't good, but maybe not entirely useless.
We could have done with that fight and passion shown in the last three minutes channeled properly over the course of the season lads. Woeful, dire, zero spark, nothing. My farts have more passion about them.
In these frightening times I need our fan groups to “take up Scott’s challenge” so that Gino can parlaci and comfort me.
And that’s the problem. Our “fans” deserve this crap. Instead of staying and storming the pitch at the end to really demonstrate, they leave. Cowards, just like the players.
