Pearson was the turning point for me. He was the moment I went from hounding out our underperforming maangers to realising it was nothing to do with them.
I've always liked Nigel Pearson, even before he was our manager. I agree with you, I think he is a classy guy. I get the impression he takes no nonsense from anyone, but would back his players to the hilt. If I was a footballer, he is the sort of manager I would like to play for.

He's gone in the Summer - give it to a younger player who has a chance of starting next season. Bit disapointing Hamer isn't starting, he made a gaff last week yes, but overall was solid. Asprilla and Kone' should be starting imho - more players who are likely to be here.
Because the deluded idiots at the top probably still think we can make the play offs and, despite his consistently appalling performances, think Davis can help with that.
I am hoping once the mathematical chance has gone we see a line up of players we are definitely keeping next season with a few youth players thrown in with them, until the maths dont work out we are stuck with the players that wont be here next season.
No Kone again is interesting, Asprilla I can get as he's a bit of a luxury player who might not fit the system, but I'd have thought even if Wilder isn't totally keen on him that he'd get in ahead of Bacuna
