Yes! The consensus around me on Saturday was that, at the very least, you need to be able to pronounce the players' names as a stadium announcer.
Going against the trend here and say I thought Sarr was ok and seemed to be putting in a bit more effort. Probably not enough but an improvement. Kamara who I really don't like I thought defended pretty well but didn't attack that much. Andrews played well and hope he keeps his place. Bacuna was awful. Bachmann played well as did Hoedt. We will miss Pedro. There was also a post earlier, can't remember who, who said play offs are unlikely and most of us don't want to get there anyway? First part is correct, second part surely isn't. Why would you want to fail? I never understand the I hope we lose brigade. What's the point in following a team if you want them to fail or is just to prove a point. People call our fans strange for not shouting Pozzo out from the roof tops but wanting us to lose is perfectly fine!!! On the banner, I spoke to the stewards that were marching these two chaps out as to why was the banner an issue and he said "we received an email to remove all banners". No idea if that's true but that's he said It was nice to win a game of football
I'll check at Hobblesdon as one might be under the tea towel I placed over the rotting corpse of a pigeon a few weeks ago. I'll report back...
It was quite uncomfortable at half time when two now departed 'orns were given a mention, but one was given a different name. I think he was called Ray on screen but Ryan was used over the tannoy.
Yeah we were convinced it was because the previously mentioned person was named Brian and she got a little confused. Feel a bit sorry for them but quite honestly, it sums up the completely amateurish 90s style stadium experience completely.
