Loved the preview GD. Amezing work. As for the game, we will be great the first 15 mins have a couple fantastic chances and miss them and then go back to our usual ways. We really need at least a point here but I don't think we will get any. Watford 0-2 Leeds
This is the most difficult of our remaining home games because of the way they press. Yeah, we were good against Liverpool but it's only because we played away from home and they are a top team so everyone expected us to lose by a high scoreline. But a home game against Leeds where everyone expects us as the home team to dominate, we can easily lose this by 2 goals especially with Sarr playing which usually makes it look like we are playing with a man down. He was **** against Liverpool so let's hope this is one of those rare games where he gives a **** about playing well for us as a front three of Cucho, Dennis and Sarr (if he is motivated to play well) will hurt them on the counter with Leeds expected to dominate the game. One of the best previews ever. Seems a shame we have to taint it by losing to such an inferior team and their **** supporters tomorrow really.
For me this is where it all begins. Our great escape. I'm expecting us to win this, and draw everyone closer to the scrap. My only concern is being treated unfairly by the officials again, however, I do have faith in Andre Marriner. All being equal, we will win, and hopefully a few other fans will start to believe we can get out of this.
As long as we score first, we'll be ok This is probably one of our biggest games of recent times, a real make ( well it gives us a fighting chance ) or break. A very tight 1-0 win
No wonder we've got money problems - imagine the cost of supplying the really, really big football boots this squad requires.
Another page to add to the reasons to hate what modern football's become: https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/20054561.jesse-marsch-wary-watford-ahead-leeds-united-match/ U wot m8? Can he not have just said - "Watford are a dangerous team on the counter attack and we have to watch out for that?"
When was the last time that life gave us lemons and we made lemonade from it? A lot of our most crucial wins in the Pozzo era have come completely out of the blue, only to fall flat on our faces as soon as we're actually in a position to do something
The bit he missed out was 'but tend to be unable to hit a barn door whilst holding the handle, so I doubt we'll concede.'
Sounds like someone fed an AI bot a load of football hipster articles and this is what it produced. Think the first time I started posting on here rather than lurking was in response to some people peppering their posts with reference to registas, trequartistas and double pivots (or rather doble pivotes). Luckily that seems to have fallen by the wayside in recent times.
I note that the official Leeds twitter account has posted the winning goal from the game I mentioned today. Still the biggest thing they’ve achieved in 30 years. I never swear on here but what a bunch of ****s. Hate them. ******* hate them. Wish they’d gone bust.
Why isn't it? The game itself is quite simple compared to, say, rugby or cricket. Strategies for doing well at it are admittedly more complicated.
