As I said in the other thread, how is it a good result England? If Slovenia had won today they would have been through and USA would have been all but out, and assuming we win handsomely today we would have been pretty much definitely through as well, leaving our fate in our own hands as to whether we win the group or not in the final game. With todays result it now means both USA and Slovenia have everything to play for and a slight f**k up from us today or in the last game could end with us missing out all together.
True but we need to win the group to get a decent draw. At least it's iin our hands rather than relying on others results.
Terrible first half, terrible officiating, brilliant 2nd half comeback. Donovan's goal was a thing of beauty... Anyway, if you don't let Slovenia go up on you like that, the reffing doesn't matter. Someday, USA will have to get a clean sheet in a World Cup game. Hopefully that will be Wednesday.

Our lot just looked like they did not want to be there!!! They showed no passion or fight whatsoever, in fact they were a disgrace to the shirt!!! That's what hurts most of all their performance not the result. OK the Germans and the Spanish lost, but at least they went down fighting, and were perhaps unlucky, but our lot were just pathetic!!!
