What do you think then? 3 weeks? 4? I think we should be kept in mourning until we mourn sufficiently to learn our lesson.
Please do not circulate this if you love Liz Truss. https://twitter.com/itvcalendar/status/1567102473826885637?s=46&t=1ZG-L9om7QP1f11C39lc6A
I reckon Rees-Mogg will be pretty gutted. By just two days and by virtue of the reshuffle he’s missed out on being master of ceremonies at the Accession Council tomorrow. Mourdant gets to do it instead.
Strangely have the day off tomorrow with nothing planned. I think I'll take a daytrip to the capital to see what's going on. I shall report back.
Haha look at this subdued match report from Arsenal’s match. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/62831912 We’re not allowed any frivolity. Simple facts only. It’s really all we can take in at this difficult time.
So all the five public sector broadcast channels that God saw fit to bless us with have suspended their programming. It’s only right, because your Gran would have wanted it that way to respect the Queen’s passing and…but what’s this? ITV3 is still on air! The crumblies have pulled a fast one on you! They’ve got wall to wall Frost and Vera and you’ve got eff all squared!
Haha - that's brilliant. If you read it in really somber tones you get the full effect. Royal correspondent in black suit and tie looks into camera and says "But Zurich equalised before half-time courtesy of Mirlind Kryeziu's penalty after Nketiah fouled Ola Selnaes. Back to Balmoral"
It's like that episode of American Horror Story where the new Supreme ascends to power at the expense of the old. One Liz draining the other. Unfortunately the country got the very short end of the stick.
Her and Phil The Greek almost made me miss my train. It was on the outside platforms (9-12) at Kings Cross just after New Year and I had about 15 mins to go before my train departed when these Men In Black goons stopped everyone from approaching the entrance to this part. With about 5 mins to go they said it'll soon be over and a small lady in a Green Outfit and matching hat and a taller lanky bloke emerged to waiting Bentleys to clapping and me swearing my head off. All's well though as I just made it to the train with a few secs to spare.
