I lost track of Simms' uni thread sometime during the toilet-related in jokes.

Can anyone summarise his first year at uni for me in a few bullet points?

 

why was a new thread made anyway?

 

It wasn't an "in joke." It was a heinous sin committed by Simms which he confessed to a few of us.

You told me, but I assumed it was a wind up. I doubt even Keith Richards, John Bonham, Idi Amin and Henry VIII could have pulled that off, let alone Simms.

I think simms should disclose it or be banned.

 

I think he tried to, but the internet was closed down for 35 minutes whilst the Chinese government and the CIA removed it and all trace of it from all servers and computers worldwide. We can't do that again. It cost the world economy about $5000 billion due to the down time.

I had a viewing today and I got back and they've knocked over a drink and its spilled onto a few electrical items, a heater and a few of my books and things.

Are they liable to replace the items?

 

No, you are liable for leaving it there is the first place. It was an industrial hazard and could have caused the viewers damage. You are lucky that they did not get electrocuted and could sue you.

Keep in mind, this is only a rumor right now. I've heard that he picked up a cougar last weekend, she's had him locked up in the bedroom for almost a week now, teaching him things he never knew existed and fulfilling all of her own fantasies about using and abusing impressionable hipsters.

What have your essays been about?

 

One about how Rule utilitarianism is more plausible than act utilitarianism, and the other was on how successful was Kant's transcendental idealism in synthesizing empiricism and rationalism.

 

Very few people are going to understand that. Put it in layman's terms, i dare you.

 

Is it a better to live life by rules which produce the most happiness or is it better to decide each situation on its own to produce the best consequences.

Does kant's idea that we need both innate ideas and experiance to produce knowledge synthesize the view that we only have innate ideas and the view that we only know things through experiance.

The other night i went downstairs to get a drink, and heard the new flatmate having really loud sex in her bedroom with her bf. So i got my drink and went to go back upstairs but she would've heard as the stairs are creeky and she was gradually getting louder so i just had to wait till she had an orgasm so i could creep back upstairs without it being awkward. I panicked!

I would have just walked upstairs, it's embarrassing for you if they hear you hanging around downstairs (Is her bedroom downstairs?) If they know you heard them, you don't have to be embarassed,. just maybe them.

Are you allowed cats in your rental agreement? Can you call it simba?

 

Realistically, you had a drink - which you could have finished off. Meaning you had an empty cup/glass/bottle. This would have been an easy capture device had you know, decided to take advantage of the situation.

Also, is she fit?
