Preston away is a most snore-worthy fixture. It could have at least been at home, then I could actually have gone. Not sure I fancy making the trip up on a Tuesday night. Anyway, depending on who is still at the club by then, I reckon we'll see some of the Pozzo signings mixed in with our U21s. My early prediction is: Arlauskis; Hoban, Britos, Angella, Pudil; Smith, Byers; Lewis, Forestieri, Anya; Jakubiak. I would like to see Pr*dl lumped in at the back as a physical presence.

Glad we didn't get Luton. A Premier League Watford beating a League Two Luton wouldn't exactly prove anything. Put out a strong team and try to win it, it probably our best shot of winning a major trophy in the club's 134 year history.
With City away a few days later I would expect us to play a slightly weaker team. As someone said above maybe a few of the U21's? As for being on the TV Malteser, I very very very much doubt it! L*t*n away then it might have been a possibility, but doubtful Preston. They'll probably go for Hatlepool v Bournemouth...
I'd be very surprised if our line-up didn't feature Arlauskis, Britos, Angella, Ake (if he's here), Watson, Vydra, Fessi (if he's still here), Berghuis etc etc..ie, 9-10 changes from the Southampton starting eleven.

Funny that on one of their forums they're considering how we will play a weakened XI because we have Man City on the Saturday. We will certainly field a team with lots of changes but it's no lineup of mugs. Naturally we will still lose.

He does. A couple of years ago he was sending a lot of messages to Zola's daughter Martina on Twitter, trying to get her to meet up with him in the 1881 Club after a match! After she didnt respond, he told someone else on Twitter to meet HIM after the game in the 1881 and to "Ask for Paul or Martina". An utter weirdo.
