To all those sarf London chavs at Wembley central station in May who gloatingly shouted "this platform for the premier league". I hope you bought return tickets.
Think Sunderland might run them close. Actually gave Arsenal a game but then its easy to get up for the big boys.
I thought to myself, I don't wish them as much pain now that Holloway has left. Then I remembered their **** fans before the Play Off final.
An epic game in the cup tonight, we've come out 4-3 winners. If this is the final nail for Jol I will feel absolutely dreadful.
Coleman will have Palace back in their rightful position of middling/struggling Championship club operating on low resources within 18 months before having his contract 'mutually terminated' around this stage of the 2015/16 season. I couldn't be any more certain.
Now they've proved us all right (That they're ****e and never should have been promoted) and binned Holloway my hate for them has slowly dwindled. I still dislike them, but now I don't really care what happens to them.
It's good that we've got the Leicester game out of our hair so that we can go back to focussing our hate on our real rivals. Palace!
Things keep getting worse for Palace. First choice Karanka snubbed them for Middlesborough. Other target Meulensteen has become Jol's assistant (although he could well be their manager in a couple of weeks.) And now to top it all off....Iain Dowie has been made a favourite to take over. Bloody brilliant.
They missed out on Coleman too, who's staying with Wales. I think there was another manager who was said to have turned them down. Was it Pulis?
My guess is that around 2/3 will be gone by the end of the Season in a bid to stay up. 1/3, along with the 'perks' of going down (money) mean that they would be fine for another Season or two.
Is it really just 1:20? So put up a £100 you have a crisp brand new fiver in your back pocket? Goodness this must be the easiest money anybody is ever going to earn.
Malky Mackay was offered the Palace job a couple of weeks ago but turned it down, now they are in talks with Fox Mulder (or Dan Petrescu as he's better known).
Crystal Palace may be rebuffed by another target in their search for a new manager with Dan Petrescu likely to stay at Dynamo Moscow, according to the Russian club's president. Former Chelsea defender Petrescu is currently the bookmakers' favourite to succeed Ian Holloway after the Premier League side have been consistently frustrated in their attempts to find a replacement. http://talksport.com/football/petrescu-set-snub-crystal-palace-claims-dynamo-moscow-president-13111568321
They'll be trying to get tramps off the streets of Thornton Heath next, even egg and chips would turn down that rancid, poisonous chalice at palace
Given my impressive record on Football Manager, I think I should apply to be manager of Crystal Palace.
