Not from me either, liked him from the off! He took a lot of (unfair IMO) criticism over his first goal which was the penalty he took where he stuck the rebound away! At the time comments such as 'worst penalty ever' etc etc were thrown about!
Honestly I don't recall him from any matches prior to Brentford, but as well as the poor penalty he had a generally bad game that night.
I'd like to see Ighalo and Vydra upfront to be honest. Whilst I could never criticise Troy for his effort and all round work rate, when him and Vydra are together there just isn't any of that clinical passing to Vydra from Troy anymore, he tries those annoying Hollywood passes that don't work, even against Huddersfield when he could have put Anya through he blasted it out for a goalkick. I think Ighalo could bring back the Vydra we knew from before, he isn't afraid to cut the ball into the box as we saw against Charlton. He can hold the ball up like Deeney and he can actually head a ball too!
Agreed. As much as I like your videos, Talk, I'd prefer to see a five minute of decent highlights from a play rather than two slow-motion replays of a pass that eventually led to a goal. By May he'll have a tonne of highlights.
I couldn't help myself, alright? Rest assured, there'll be a video of his 35 goals at the end of the season.
To be honest I find it pretty impressive that you manage to make some of these. Fabbrini and Faraoni particularly.
I'll hold my hands up here and admit that I slated the guy, but in my opinion I did think his start with us was pretty damn shocking especially when he came on at Charlton. I think he started to show how good he could be in the Forest game and since then he's really impressed and got better every week. Theres no doubt that if I was ten years old and still bought replica shirts it would have his name on the back.
Anyone else think there's a Ighalo song in here somewhere?
Great pic going round on Twitter with him on the train and his match ball. Dread to think how anyone who only scores a hat trick goes home

I'm looking at available plots of land to built an Odionist temple for His worship. I can't see planning permission being a problem, seeing as it's for Him, the living God that He is. In years to come, Odionism will be the world's major religion. There's no doubt about that.
He's clearly enjoying his football here. The Championship is a lot tougher than he was used to and it took him time to adjust, but I think his recent form has been a huge bonus to us. He's never been prolific in his career and I don't really think anyone expected this many goals from him. What I like about this guy is his positioning. He always seems to know where to put himself in order to get chances. If you look at most of his goals, they look like easy tap ins, but these are the bread and butter goals we don't often score. He reads the game very well and is always an option. When you have unselfish players around you, who are just as likely pass to you than shoot, then you are always likely to profit in a team like this. Good attitude and a very likeable character. He's getting better and better every game. Unrecognisable from the player we saw against Brentford and his form is a timely boost for the run-in.
Favourite Watford Goals of All Time: 1. Deeney vs Leicester (2013) 2. Doyley vs QPR (2009) 3. Lord Odion Jude Ighalo, Earl of Hertfordshire vs Blackpool (2015)
Has there ever been a more appropriate time to use the chant 'hey Jude'? Surprised nobody has picked up on that yet.
Did he not wear the black armband at all yesterday.. if this is to be true, he needs to be sent on loan to Stevenage to find his way.
really beginning to like ighalo....still got a way to go to get up to the status of recent greats such as deeney, smithy and helguson but at this rate it won't take long for him to get there. a proper striker, right place at the right time.
Positioning and anticipation is second to none Deeney has shown flashes of being a 'poacher' and we thought we'd signed one in Geijo, but Iggy Igz seems to finally be fitting the bill
Ighalo has scored more times for us in his last 4 games than Ranegie, Acuna and Geijo managed in their 41 appearances for us combined. (8 versus 7)
