Header direct from a corner no less. Bizarre. Least likely goal you'd chalk him up for.

 

Could've used him today instead of useless Jurado.

 

Angella proving QSF right tonight.

 

Angella looks too skinny to be a a centre back - my parameters have been skewed by Prodl.

At the start of last season if you had to pick one defender to play in the premier league out of Cathcart, Ekstrand and Angella - how many would've gone with Cathcart?

 

In fairness, he was easily the safest option considering he was the only one of the three who had already played in the Premier League.

People remembered Cathcart as he was when he was with us on loan...and he was awful during that loan. He was also young, which shows that players need time and support to develop instead of being written off immediately.

 

So Vydra didn't play - dropped as no injuries to Clarke's Reading team.
No Fessi as injured.
Pudil got injured and his replacement sent off.
Angella and Toszer in the team for the QPR Friday night humiliation show.
Not a great weekend so far for the darlings

 

Vydra and Fessi both scored today.

Fessi' 4th in 6 games I think?

 

Pleased for Fessi, Vydra should be on our bench, shame about his attitude really.

What do we think about this? Gino the great negotiator doesn't lose many so I'm sure he got the best deal he could but does anyone else wonder whether £3 million was a little cheap?

 

I love Fessi, but can't help but feel the goals will dry up or he'll get injured. Did this a couple of times with us and every time he seemed to come into form he'd get injured

 

No I think it was a fair price,others just happen to be inflated.

 

Think it was a fair price at the time, but I hope Fernando goes on to make it look like a bad bit of business as I wish him all the best.

 

I believe we have a hefty sell on but knowing the Pozzos there could also be other facets of the deal that we haven't been told about, first dibs at one of their youngsters or something like that.
