Why not write to the club and insist the members of staff responsible are sacked for negligence and offer your services as a replacement? I'm sure the club would be very keen to hear from someone who can diagnose injuries from the stands. It would also save them a few quid.
If you think someone should write to the club because they have an opinion on the way an aspect of it functions, you’d probably do well to avoid the ‘transfer suggestions’ thread.
I think everyone should write to the club with all their thoughts and suggestions, like they used to in the old days. GT spent so much of his time replying to supporters who'd written to him I marvel at how he found the time to actually coach the team!
I hope we sell him. It’s like seeing an exotic bird kept in a tiny cage in someone’s front room. Sure, I appreciate I’m getting a real treat, but it doesn’t feel fair or right. He needs to be set free from Cancer FC.
The thing I can appreciate most about Pedro is his professionalism and work ethic. If nothing, he is a role model professional. Gives his best physical effort every game and puts a shift in at the least. Has clearly been working on his body and athleticism since he's come here and has a top level of fitness, unlike someone like Davis who gasses after pressing for a couple seconds. You can tell he cares about the results we get on the field. The way he conducts himself as a footballer couldn't be any more opposite to the general club culture and mentality we have in the club and dressing room at the moment. More should learn from him in this specific regard.
Great example of this for the winner today. https://twitter.com/SkyFootball/status/1609956807740641281?s=20&t=0R9F3IEvnb14bOjZawSFug Norwich defender is so scared of Sarr, he leaves Bayo completely free in order to move over to Sarr. This is despite Sarr already having a runner alongside him. Another crap performance overall, but every team in this division has to make adjustments to deal with his potential threat. (sorry, know it's not JP related!)
You can't beat a counter attack goal. The level of expectation rises as you pour forward and then follows a huge celebration.
I see Pedro is stuck on 9 goals again. Will he finally break his single digit goal tally this season?
Unless Milan have somehow fallen into a crap load of cash, they won’t pay want Gino wants. Obviously all sorts of things happen within a deal, but you would think that Gino wants £40mil+ for Pedro. Can Milan do that, maybe? Can you get a bidding war going between Newcastle, Spurs, Liverpool and Man Utd who have all be credited with having an interest in Pedro. Hell if Everton stay up, they are stupid enough to offer us £50mil+.
That Milan might be interested ? Probably totally unaware of some random site suggesting Milan might be after a striker .
Can’t see Pedro is worth more than £15-20m. 9 goals in the championship is poor. Some nice tricks and flicks, but not enough end product. If he can’t score at least 20 goals in the championship then I doubt he would get on the bench at any of the teams in the Pl
I mean he has had chances to get more but that seems harsh to say he ought to get 20 goals and he won’t get into a PL team . Got a lot to his game that would appeal to many teams . Considering Villa think Davis is worth 15 million !
Or he's just taken a break in Milan and someone has put 2 and 2 together and linked him to them ....?
Pedro is still young, has a lot of growing to do in the game and is still learning the English game. He has pace, some amazing skill and can finish. His problem this season has been surrounded by a team of shirkers who for most of the season haven't tried hard enough. Put Pedro in a side with ten other players who have his same drive and desire to get forward and he will flourish. I know he signed a new deal not long ago, but if Newcastle for example put in a decent offer and good terms, there is no way we could stop him going. He has a lot to offer the game, and he just needs the right environment.
Difficult to say but I imagine if he was in a team with 2/3 other attackers as good as he is, he'd go up another level as he wouldn't have to try and do everything himself. With his work rate and dribbling ability, could see him on the left of a front three in a decent side. He's been in a team that hasn't known how to attack for three seasons and acquitted himself well, can see how much his game has developed from his early days. Fundamentals of his game are good. His decision making sometimes isn't the best but wonder how much of that is that there's pretty much only one option where the pass has to be perfect because he's playing alongside a bunch of traffic cones.
He's clearly good but he hasn't been particularly effective. He needs better players around him because when he goes into "I have to do everything myself" mode, he makes some dreadful decisions. I feel for him, I'd be beside myself playing with most of this side. I think João and Richarlison would find their feet in Serie A.
Does he count as home grown (like Fabregas was)? If so I can see that adding to his value to a Premier League club.
Sounds like there's a transfer request and a refusal to train to look forward to this summer! My sources are telling me it's 'a matter of personal pride' for Gino to demand far more than £30million for JP.
Did he do that last summer to try and get a move though? If he has agreed a contract and there is no set transfer clause not sure Pedro can complain too much . Not that I expect him to stay and in the end we might be that desperate to sell 30 million or whatever will do.
The idea that this guy is somehow worth £30m or more is crazy. The idea that there just might be someone out there willing to pay £30m is slightly less crazy.
He can "demand" whatever he likes. Based on what he has achieved in terms of goals and asisists over the last 4 years, he will be sold for about £20m but "undisclosed".
