I presume you will be spending a bit more to go and see a top Premiership side next season when you can get value for money... How about your 2 local Nottingham sides who are doing very well.. Maybe these stewards felt the same as some people on here...why should the fans try to create a good atmosphere for the team if the players aren't performing?
NO! Customer support at The Vic is a lifetime career, you might even become more of a canut when you become a 'supervisor'! :sign15:
No longer known as a traffic warden in these PC times, more like a "Civil Parking Enforcement Agent" :dismay:
Most of the ones I have come across in Bromley, Kent are officially called Civil Uniformed Notebook wielding Traffic Supervisors
Harry The Hornet Well done to Harry :sign15::sign15::sign15::sign15::sign15: Seriously, whoever you are mate, keep up the good work, you've had a great season :sign15::sign15::sign15::sign15::sign15:
I also agree. By messing about and simply having a laugh, it gives people a bit of light hearted entertainment and puts them in a better frame of mind than they otherwise would be. More of the same next season please.
Which match was it harry went and stood in front of the away fans doing press-ups and flexing his muscles? :sign15:
It seemed to be a winning formula yesterday. Much more in the American ilk of using mascots to gee up the crowd than the stale idea of a bloke in a suit posing for pictures with toddlers.
He's actually become a figure who leads the crowd and gets something going, rather than a completely redundant theme park outcast. We should have another Harry and Harriet wedding next season.
I remember at the Cardiff home game when they were singing "what the f-kin hell is that" he went down on all fours and pretended to be a sheep infront of them.
True, he has got areas of the ground singing and up for it who you wouldn't hear a peep out of before. Great decision by the club but over the summer he definitley needs drumming lessons and learn how to play more songs.
Probably really hard to play it in that suit, and to be able to hear it with the big thing over his head. Certainly needs to learn a few more songs though
V swansea.. he also 'Goaded' the swansea fans which got him sent to the stands...later coming out 20lbs lighter and 3 inches shorter :sign15:
A Mexican wave at the Vic. Has that ever happened before? Whoever it is behind the costume, he's doing a good job, keep it up!
its Jimmy Russo doing community service after nearly killing the club and going for administration and certain relegation.
post more crap like what i does - works for moogy with his 1,000 pointless posts a day master plan - shame he squanders them on futile bets though.
It's not a Russo - I know who the lad is. Used to sit in the Rookery - he's doing a brilliant job - when the Stewards let him
Harry is a star! I loved how the players went and celebrated with him on Saturday after the 3rd goal. Dont Reading have a Lion that sits near the corner flag on a stool and he joins in the celebrations when they score?
At least every one of my pointless posts is different, instead of a copy and paste of the others....... Give me some 'Orns.
'Official Harry Hornet' Hi, Hope everyone is well..... Firstly..... Many thanks for the support shown on this forum by you the ‘Watford Supporters’ in regards to the efforts I have put in over the last 18 months. The reason why I have joined the WFC Forum /felt I should post this is simple..... Like you all, I’m a very passionate Watford Supporter and follow them every week. In which, I do not want you all to be lead down the garden path so I just wanted to clarify that ‘yes’ I’m the match day Harry the Hornet and did used sit in the Rookery! The ‘Harry Hornet’ on Facebook is not the real Harry, to be honest I don’t know if he/she is claiming the glory for the efforts I have applied to make Harry the Hornet the number 1 mascot in the country! I have enjoyed entertaining the kids, as well as trying my luck in Rookery Bar to get a pint (failed every time mind you)!! And the result if the Mexican Wave gave me a huge buzz, which I can’t thank ‘you’ enough.... Yes, I have only one song on the drum.... ‘Hey’ I have hairy hands, it’s hard to hold on to the stick! And yes, it’s me that has done the following during the last year.... BBC advert, Pretending to be a sheep in front of the Cardiff fans (I got a .......... for that!!!), Dancing in front of the TV cameras with the NFL cheer leaders , Dancing the Lawn Mower, oh and having it out with the Stewards!!! Bless them, but without them we can’t host the game, they now know the rules! Please take note, I’m a fan of the WFC Fan page on Facebook but ‘not’ harry hornet on there! I/Harry the Hornet will be at Coventry City on Saturday..., where funnily enough, when I played in the ‘Mascots Charity Football Match’ at Shrewsbury Town a few weeks ago the Coventry mascot mention/stated “he will teach me how to entertain a crowd”.... hmmmm maybe not...... I will give him a note pad (that’s if you agree) I do feel over the last 18 months Harry the Hornet has had a new lease of life (slightly cheeky at times) and look to carry on till otherwise. I hope this message is received in good light and support. Come on you Glory Hornet Boys!!!! I only have one song..........grrrrr See you Sunday...... ‘Official’ Harry the Hornet.
Well come on spill the beans, will you be marrying a new Harriet at the start of next season? If so, I hope we are all invited and that the ceremony is held on the pitch!!! Go on ask Malky (Harriet's current guardian) if you can take her hand in marriage!!!
Morning sir. Can I ask about the Mascot grand national? Does it still happen? Who's nicked the you tube clip of us winning. Think it was 99
Top Man! You're doing a fine job - and you're from Hemel Hempstead? - That give syou more H's than Helguson - Harry tHe Hornet from Hemel Hempstead! You're not my great grandad are you?
