difference in opinion i see.
let me know how you guys think about the film when you see it, i was really disappointed in the film.

 

i nothinged that film. the definition of average to me. didn't know whether it wanted the minimalism of the thing or the outright action of a full on zombie movie and instead decided to tread on the grounds of tedium. i've seen worse, i've seen better but i definetely won't watch that movie again

 

I watched 'This is England' yesterday.

By pure chance, you know just flicking through the channels for something to watch kind of thing, I have watched two excellent films over the last two nights on Sky!!!

Last night I watched "Conspiracy Theory" starring Mel Gibson and Julia Roberts. great film watch it if you get the chance.

Then tonight I watched a film starring Bruce Willis and Jessica Parker ( that sex in the city bird), the name of the film escapes me at the moment, but it was very good.

Did anyone else watch it? If so what was it called?

 

Striking Distance?

 

Watched Con Air last night, tremendous film. Also got through the Big Lebowski twice in the last week, no better film to have on whilst writing essays.

 

Indeed Con Air is superb film, would be even better without some of the cheesy bits but nevertheless a great watch!

Watched 'Shrooms' at the weekend, not bad, but could have been a lot better.
'Planet Terror' however, is a cracker.

 

Conspiracy Theory is much overlooked and underrated. One of Mel Gibson's best performances, quite believable as a nutter.

I picked up 'Saint and Soldiers' for a fiver in Smiths a while back and it is a brilliant 2nd World War film - if you see it get it.

Also got 'Stalingrad', russian film about 15 years old but *****ing brilliant.

 

A very weird but entertaining film. Worth a watch after a few to drink just to bypass the weird.

 

'The Longest Yard' with Adam Sandler and Chris Rock

In my opinion it's a really good movie

 

Rise of the Footsoldiers

Brutal gangster film about the Essex gangland in the 80s and early 90s. Never heard of it before my mate stuck it on.

that was one of the most graphic films i have seen. its good but it just seems to rely on viloence and sex to keep you entertained

last film i watched was run fat boy run, not bad i think simon pegg is quality

 

Watched it on the net for free, good film.

 

Watched Beverly Hills Cop 1 the other night again, always a good laugh. Eddie Murphy at his best if you ask me.

 

Saw Scarface for the very first time last weekend, absolutely brilliant film.

 

Watched another goodun on Sky last night, "The Last Boy Scout"!!!

No I have not suddenly taken a shine to young boys :]]

It was a Bruce Willis movie about an ex-secret service agent turned Private Eye. Well worth watching if you haven't seen it!!!

What a movie! The end where you see the bodies is quite sick, but good story, going to see Iron man today - anyone know if it's any good?

 

Watched Superhero movie instead, it's funny but a bit too short and the story isn't exactly the greatest either.

 

Saw this a few days back, was ok, but weren't what it's hyped up to be.

 

loads of the american comedys that are **** takes of films are hyped up and then crap

the only ones that were good were scary movies 1 & 2

one thats stood out for me recently was 'primer'. confusing but still good.
