No. I'll just ask them what did you vote? Leave or remain. It's that simple and nothing you fantasize about in your posts can change it. What kind of EU did you vote for? An EU swinging wildly towards the far right? Really? You voted for a far right EU with its own army and nuclear weapons? Of course you didn't. But that is what you would have got. That silly "Brexit you voted for" trope swings both ways.
Of course, during the debate. Freedom of movement within the EU meant virtually no restrictions. How much more difficult would it be to manage our European borders if we were still in the bloc? Brexit meant we could choose to take people from all over the wotld, whilst pulling back on Euro-centric migration. I would rather see incomers from across the commonwealth than virtually exclusive EU migrants. The tories are the problem for not managing it. The EU are simply behaving like any country with its own interests at heart.
Why? I mean, we never had anywhere near to exclusively EU migrants. In fact Migration Watch has non-EU net migration outstripping EU migration every year until about 2014, when the roles were reversed with the Romanian/Bulgarian integration and an economic crisis in Southern Europe believed to have played a role, both of which MW calls ‘temporary factors’. That’s telling coming from that organisation.

I know you are also a nice guy who would want to help people in need and someone who wouldn’t want our elderly to go without care. I think if you suggested what it is you think should be done, then you’d probably find there is a lot of agreement. No one I know expects that known violent people should be allowed into the UK. ‘Nice’ on the other hand, is a matter of opinion.
