Eagles suck.. that is all

 

Yeah, they got spanked harder than the last time the Cowbs beat'em.

 

Yea not a good two weeks to be a eagle fan.. though i think the sixers are 13-28 now so we got that going for us

 

Cowboys got owned.

As for the Chargers, well, losing to a team with a rookie QB who rely heavilly on the running game. Should have been a home win all the way, but fair play to the men in green,

 

Good to see the Vikings mauling Dallas. Vikes are one of two teams I cheer for in the NFL. Raiders are my other allegiance so when the Vikings are eliminated my season is over.

I can't see them getting past Saints but I remain hopeful.

As for Jets beating Charges - it's good to see that even in football - upsets can happen.

 

Superbowl 2010 about to kickoff. Loving the pre match entertainment, and BBC1 has NO ADS. I might even last to half time.

i have missed the nfl since about week 3. the hazards of uni - having nothing to do, and too much time to do it.

now im watching this on the bbc. im sick. i havent kept any food down in three days. i can hardly stand up. my girlfriend is messing me about.

When I fell in love with The Who in 1980, I never suspected they'd do a medley at the Super Bowl halftime show.

I wish they died before they got old.

the interception was quality. i unwittingly found myself rooting for the saints, absolutely no idea why as i dont really follow american football.

 

That turned out to be a fun game. Well done to the Saints. That poor town needed something like this. Having been to Bourbon Street a couple times, I can tell you that the place is absolutely going bananas right now, and probably will not stop until Mardi Gras is over in a few weeks. Seriously.

I really get sick of the same old teams winning year after year. I like this a lot.

If you dont support the Saints, then they are no doubt your second team.

They are certainly the people's champions on this occasion and thoroughly deserved the win for the way they came back and kept Manning relatively quiet.

That Interception by Tracy Porter had be jumping up and down like a loon and was a fitting way to end the season for a defence that had 11 (yes 11) interceptions returned for a TD.

 

Draft is on tommorrow.. any one going to watch?

 

I can't follow all of it live, but will catch as much as I can of the first round.

 

It's on at like 12.30am over here so I will record it and watch at the weekend, trying to avoid the outcome in the process.

I see Tim Tebow has decided to watch from home. Sam Bradford to be number one pick. Meant to be a very strong crop of players this season, hence why many teams have traded big players (McNabb to Washington, Peppers to Bears, Marshall to Miami) in exchange for picks.

 

Tebow bugs the living **** out of me. I wish he came to the green room so we could watch him sweat for hours on end as the 1st and 2nd rounds go by.

Tyson Alualu is probably the Cal Bear's top 2nd round prospects in the draft...he will be sorely missed and will end up displacing a starter where he lands.


Also look for RB Jahvid Best.

 

Alualu in the 10th pick to the Jags,
Best in the 30th pick to the Lions.

Next up is Syd'Quan Thompson.

I couldn't care less about the rest, but Bradford, McCoy and Tebow's results were interesting.

 

Sam Bradford to the Rams, that was almost a given after his pro-day.

Pleased about getting a good DE in the 1st round, our last one was The Freak Javon Kearse. Actually, I am really satisfied.

Wow - Tebow to the Broncos, didn't see that coming. I thought he would have slid further.

 

We spent our first and 3rd round picks on the sam postion even though he have a pro bolwer at it and in the 2nd round skipped over one of the top saftys in the draft for some random one... go eagles!

 

Our third round picks brought us a returner (desperately needed) and a linebacker (shallow draft) so I am hopeful that the we have one of our needs fixed.

Now we need to get Keith Bulluck under contract and we are away.

 

Kolb or Vick?

 

For me, Vick.

He offers more variation with his rushing abilities and the experience that Kolb lacks.
Pains me to say it because Vick is a bit of a scumbag, but he's the better player.

On a lighter note, what about Moss going to the Vikes? Who saw that coming. The Cowboys 1-4, the Packers crippling injuries. Oh, and let's not forget the new running backs in town - Arian Foster and Peyton Hillis.
