Interesting..!
It's probably a little tough to get into without growing up being a fan of a certain team, or going to school at that particular college, but it's pretty rewarding.

Teams play most of their games within conferences, and just a few out of conference.

Conferences of note:
the South East Conference or 'the SEC', with Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana State (LSU).

The Pac-10, with UCLA, USC, Cal, Oregon, Stanford among others.

When it gets to be time for Bowl Games, it gets really confusing though.

Interesting stat: Brett Favre is the only player in NFL history to record a win over all 32 teams in the NFL. That's not a bad record to have at all.

 

That one seems likely to stand a while. I would have preferred he never defeated the Packers and just retired.

I totally forgot about the picks this week, although I did enjoy the Patriots beating the Buccaneers at Wembley.

I went to the game and I have to say that it wasn't as exciting as the shoot-out between the Chargers and the Saints that we were treated to last year, but still, 6 TD's and 5 INT's ain't bad for one game ;D

Shame we didn't see any fumbles though...
