So we had two former players in a CL semi-final. When has that happened before ? Out of interest did anyone watch either semi-final ? I did not. He was back in the day when he was part of Nacional in Colombia and pretty decent in most aspects of the game. There was a chance he would be called up to the Colombian national side and there was quite a media frenzy and push for it to happen.

In the end he got an Argentina call up for the WC2018 with everything a shambles and his form has been declining since. His recent River Plate games have been poor. His agility, ability to come out and close the angles, passing and worst of all his attempts to stop penalties say compared to Martinez or Benitez are appalling. Foster like.
