A miracle it's reached extra time.

 

Young was awful second half. He needs to step up in Extra Time!

 

If, by some miracle or refereeing anomaly, we get through, Young needs to be dropped. He's shown he's not up to it this tournament. He's offered nothing and he's a liability.

 

Are we going with the "we should have had a penalty for fouls on Terry" story for when we lose?

That second half was woeful. Italy aren't all that but we're giving them so much time we're making them look world class.

I don't disagree, I think he's been poor by his standards, but thought his work rate and defending against Ukraine was excellent.

He's bee a lot more disciplined and has helped out Cole a lot of times. He's been awful going forwards though.

 

We need to be more angry about the ref. We're being robbed. We can't just lose, it needs to be someone's fault.

 

Agree 100%. Italy look like a mid-table Prem team at best. But we give them the ball so cheaply and allow them time to pick their passes. It's woeful.

It really annoys me. We've got players who can run at them, but they've not tried to. See just now, when we do run at them, things happen. What's the point of having Walcott, Cole, Young and Johnson, if none of them will put their head down and run in the final third?
