He will never be anything close to what Luther Blissett is to Watford. Graham Taylor and Luther Blissett, God and God's Foster Son. It doesn't get better than that.

Couldn't say it better myself. There's more WFC flowing through Luther's little toe than there is in the hearts and bodies of Troy, Gino, Dux and Giaretta combined. It should speak volumes to all those who are still on the fence about this iteration of the club, that Luther has not seen eye to eye with them. That's without all the other damning evidence of their misdeeds.

I reported him/her and said nearly all of their Tweets are trying to incite a racist argument - but got a message back from Twitter Mods saying they have recieved a lot of reports today about him/her and are looking into it. Whether anything is done about it is another matter.

It’s almost as if he’s ashamed to be white, and the only way he can deal with the guilt of it all is by pretending that he is not, and projecting his self loathing onto others who coincidentally share the same skin colour.
It really sickens me that some fans have sided with Pozzo and the club over Luther several times in the past couple of years. You have to wonder what their position would be if GT was still here and was similarly publicly unimpressed with them. I'd like to think everyone would side with him, but I doubt it sadly.
The racism accusation is absolutely bizarre. When Carl D1ckinson came out and said the same thing about threatening to injure teammates unless he could leave Watford, I similarly thought he was an absolute c***. A tw*t is a tw*t, irrespective of race.

Tego is an idiot for that response but calling it the famalam podcast and all the stuff about Jamaican’s I’ve read here, is probably not racist that would be a reach but it is quite degrading to be fair. It is a very successful podcast and belittling it as a “famalam” podcast because of London slang spoken that may be foreign to most on here isn’t really miles better than what Tego’s saying.
Luther has and always will be a classy guy. Time for anyone, and I remember him taking time out to chat online about why BLM was important and he was happy to have further future meetings for anyone who wanted to chat or ask questions. This little video passed me by until I looked at the WO late last night. I couldn't believe anyone could be so crass or so stupid to sh1te on your own adopted doorstep. What a bell-end. That little chat over some cheap French brandy, not a good look for the the Troy Deeney Foundation or anyone looking for an inspirational role model.

Are they always such sycophants with their guests? I found it incredibly cringeworthy the way they were responding to him throughout and don't think they asked a single interesting follow up question the whole show (appreciate I'm not the target demographic!).
Sorry but if you want to see blatant racism then look no further than DEENEY'S comments during the podcast. On numerous occasions he referred to White people being weak, not as strong as black people, not on the same level and being bigger and better than them because he and his friends are black. Could you image if Mark Noble did a podcast where he spoke about his black teammates and opponents being inferior due to their skin colour? He would never find employment again.
He also made reference to Dyche being a "ginger", who he would beat up if he was at school with him. So no diversity and inclusion towards non-black people from Mr Deeney. Not only was the show really poor in showing his attitude, but his apparent defence of it by trying to call out Andrew French, then his mate Tego wading in with another racial "white" comment, was a disgrace. He clearly sees nothing wrong in what he said or his own discriminatory views. One rule for one. I'm extremely disappointed that the real Deeney has been revealed here. He's all for the very worthy BLM movement, but he, himself, needs educating on racism. Racism and diversity does not just start and end with black people.
He's shown himself up in this one. No one is bigger than a club. Players come and go supporters do not. I'm afraid to say he does come across as the footballer who thinks he is a bit brighter than most but actually is not. Talks a lot but needs to use his brain before he opens his mouth. Stringing a few words together and being slightly more literate than the average footballer does not qualify him to be some sort of great social thinker. Comes across as a bit of a narcissist as well. Always someone else at fault while his own attitude has been far from perfect. I certainly would not give him a role as a coach at Watford despite his experience. He's not half the man Blissett or players like Ross Jenkins were and many others of the GT era. Watford through and through on and off the pitch, down to earth, relatable and not saddled with any ego. Managers made them like that and in this case it was GT. Always brought down to earth anyone who thought themselves better than the rest because he as a person was a grounded man . We don't need Troy to tell us that the hierarchy have not got a clue and where we did go originally was under Giampaolo's guidance not Gino. He's completely out of his depth. The Ms.Holmes of football business.
