I too have seen this on social media this morning. Great position for him to be in, being able to play off Leicester vs Chelsea.

Wilder has been in the game long enough to know that a few youth players in the team gets fans onside. But no, just try the same set of useless ******* and hope for a different reaction.

 

I assume it’s been made clear to Wilder all along that the only aim is promotion and so he has to play the ‘best’ players. Even now Watford are only 6 points out of the play-offs with 6 games left, so they will still believe it’s possible, despite all the evidence to the contrary. Any sane person would do as you say but…

I see nothing to make me think he’s the man for next season. Unless the club organise me to have a phone call with him, then I might want him to stay.

 

He’s just Aidy Boothroyd but from Sheffield. Had one club where it worked out for him, not a fluke but good circumstances, right place, right time. He won’t be able to repeat it, Boro fans hate for him is a massive indicator.

Someone with more time could bring up Wilder’s last 50-100 games, I’m sure it makes for absolutely dreadful reading.

Looking at it, 50 games in total across Boro & Watford. 20 wins, 11 draws, 19 losses.

 

Sounds better than our record over the last 50 games.

 

Not read the thread at all but in my opinion I want him here next season. About time we had a manager who called out the players and held then to account.
