That is not a particularly high bar. From what I've seen of Britt I would rather have kept Bayo

 

I think we are in our rightful position. I don't think we will end up any higher than 10th.
We need to win against WBA or will slip into the bottom half, especially with Sheff Utd coming up .
The problem is when you dont have a goalscorer, teams don't fear you and we are toothless upfront.

 

We have two tough games and then a pretty kind run where we only play two of the current top half, with players coming back fit & likely playing against teams who won't have much to play for. I'd still back us and if we don't get play-offs it'd be a major failure on Billic's part, despite all the failings of the squad.

 

The point I was making was that Skyla said We have left it way too late to even consider ourselves a playoff contender which is a strange thing to say for team in 8th that could end up 5th by the end of the night. You may of course be correct about being 10th but it wasn't the point I was making

 

With all the games to come this week, we will almost certainly have to get something at Bramall Lane to stay in the top 6 past this weekend, but on the flip side, our run-in is looking pretty kind, it's just the derby and Sunderland away and then the rest are mid to lower table teams...then again we do seem to have done better against the better teams in the league this season!

 

With the greatest of respect to Joe Hungbo, come on Rotherham!

 

If Burnley can turn over the scum and Millwall in a the space of a few days, I'll almost forgive them for kicking us in the teeth late on!

 

Looking very much in the balance at the moment, a goal for Blackburn and we drop further to 8th, just one goal from either Blackpool or Burnley and we stay in the top 6.

Swansea are so inconsistent this season, how on earth did we lose to them 4-0??

Because the team we put out that day was League 1 standard?

 

The way thinks are going its going to be a scrap to get in the play off places, its wide open we can't afford to take our foot off the pedal!

 

Not a bad day for us, shame Millwall got a draw, but at least they didn't win I guess, and Sunderland losing at relegation threatened Rotherham is a nice bonus. Only just out of the top 6 on goal difference, and the game in hand that L*ton and Millwall have on us is against each other to come soon, so things are tentatively looking up...the hard part is for us to keep winning!

 

Our last 12 games have got be amongst the easiest run ins of the play off chasers .

Trouble is we tend to blow it against the lesser teams .

 

Having a quick glance at those around us and going off memory, they all play each other in at least 4 games or more. So plenty of points will get dropped around us, it’s whether or not we decide to capitalize on it. With this season, knowing us we will blow it. We definitely have the easiest run in, so there really isn’t any excuses for Bilic to not cement our place in the play offs.

 

We have to have a run like we had 2 seasons ago, we have blown far to many games and have to now keep winning (after Saturday) where we should not lose!

Not a bad set of results last night and it doesn't really matter where we are currently as long as we are in contention.

 

Norwich and Blackburn winning wasn't great as they are both very possible for a top 6 finish. We can only afford to finish below 2 of these 7.

Four of the above played last night and only two won. I don't think that's too bad and you can't expect teams near the top to be losing many. It's down to us at then end of the day

It wasn't great for us that they both won, but given who they were playing, I sort of took those results for granted, the Mackems losing was a real bonus, especially considering they had been on a great run away from home!
