Bad choice to bat or just totally hapless shot making/excellent Aussie bowling?

They should all be lined up and shot!

We're going to lose this by lunch time tomorrow.

We're 82 for 5 in our second innings.

We're still 250+ off making the Aussies bat again.

    F**king useless.

    Well done ravi bopara :sign15:

Ashes average 17 runs per innings :sign15: Anderson, broad, swann have better averages and there main job is bowling :dismay:

    ****ing disaster.

Need changes for the Oval. Bopara out. Ramps in.

I am more a fan of the Counties game than internationals, so for me, it's an obvious choice. The man has been amazing over the past 3-4 seasons and is technically the best batsman going. I know there is much debate about his status as a test player, but this is a one off match. We are not looking for him to come in and play a series. One Ramps innings could be enough to win us the ashes. I don't see who else we could call on, in the absence of KP, who can come in and offer that sort of match-winning performance with the willow.

Agreed there is not a match/series winner in our middle order of unless flintoff comes back that would be one i suppose.

Bopara is an arrogant little c**t.

    He's not a number 3 bat.

I'd have him in the side, but he should be batting at 5 or 6.

Bell in at 3, Colly at 4, with Bopara at 5. If not, drop Bopara for the Oval and play Trott.

    Team for the last test

    Strauss
    Cook
    Bell
    Collingwood
    Trott
    Prior
    Flintoff
    Broad
    Swann
    Anderson
    Onions/Harmison

I suppose the people who have tickets for tomorrow will hope its over quickly so they get money back because there won't be much to enjoy unless your an Aussie.

Our lower order at least showed some fight then.

Shame about the real batsmen eh?

I am sure changes will be made but its the England cricket team...known for being so inconsistent over the years and with Freddie back who knows what will happen at the Oval.

Don't think we could play any worse though...

Trott is a good batsmen for warwickshire, but i think this is going to turn out horrible. someone like ramprakash would of made more sense, he has a better mindset, experience and his run rate is very good. I just hope trott can prove me wrong.
