England 106-2, nice reply with a benign ball. Aussies can't make it do anything. But some chump in the crowd just went to catch it and dropped his beer all over it! Equals dripping wet ball. Wonder if it'll swing now?

Strauss leading the way again and Bell looking ok.

Excellent to get those Aussies out so quickly...good job Anderson and Oinons.

Well done alistair cook again oh and ravi bopara :dismay: ravi certainly cant handle a playing against a strong team. Bring in Owais Shah!! Make a bold decision like the aussies did when they decided to leave out hughes.

I hope that ian bell goes on to make a big score and well done andrew strauss again, leading by example :sign15:

No play yesterday ofcourse and delayed today due to a very wet outfield which must be annoying for players (maybe not ours) and fans alike with the good weather.

I can see this series not ending well for the aussies, now that you have the lead. English bad weather will definatley work for the home team

Surely the Aussies must be most pleased with the test being more or less rained out - a draw is the only result now. After the 2nd day they were truly in the shyte so to get away with a draw must be good in their minds.

England need to bat aggressively today.

In a decent position and a couple of early wickets as on Friday will put us really in control with a long day tomorrow...if weather is ok.

    It'll be a draw.

Could be interesting, early wickets please. And maybe we could snatch a win. But to be honest a draw is inevitable.

Great wicket by Swann, bowled beautifully to get Ponting out.

Everytime we get a boundary, the picture of Pontings face makes it even better.

Hussey gone just as he was getting dangerous. 161/4 now and suddenly things get exciting - it'll be a draw nevertheless.

Clarke and North have batted well.

Worried about Flintoff not being fit for the 4th test considering the quick turn-around?

By all accounts, he is going to be rested for this game and Harmison brought in, well according to the commentators anyway, the problem is, Harmison has got blisters apparently and might struggle as well.

Test match cricket can be very boring on days like this, can see why the shorter versin is more popular nowadays with the general public.

I think the booing situation isn't very acceptable but the rest is fine IMO and the aussie players and fans enjoy the banter as well. I prefer and i bet a lot of others seeing and hearing an atmosphere at headingly or edgebaston and not the boring and irrating silence of lords. The atmosphere and the barmy army have affected the teams performance in a positive way and intorduced other cricket fans.

People are paying a minimum of £75 and they are not aloud to make some noise and have fun!?

Well he doesnt care so what the problem bar the booing

Maybe Flintoff can mend with the added rest now. That would mean a lot.

This is more like it. England have lost all their confidence and will do well to reach 200!
