?? I'm talking about the Bournemouth Tech Director. Used to be a running joke on here that he was stalking us for our transfer targets eg Iturbe. Doesn't seem to be so interested in stalking us anymore, wonder why ?
That wont stop him being involved somewhere along the line given how often he seems to have represented the club in negotiations before
I remember watching him in a friendly with my Charlton supporting friend, and he had a record of 5 goals in 100 appearances or something. Was a bit of a laughing stock. So I hope he's not a chip off the old block too!
Scored 53 goals in 330 games roughly so not prolific let’s say ! Seemed to be a bit of a cult hero/crowd favourite though then went to Wimbledon.
I can’t see us spending as much as £5m on an individual player this summer. I would say this is merely paper talk.
Even by the appalingly low standards of YT highlights videos his music is horrendous. The sort of house music only people from Central Europe like. Im out.
no but I expect they might make them up about players at current Austrian clubs. That newspaper article wasn’t written only for our benefit but also the fans of Sturm graz.
Well we hope we have the funds by the sales of Pedro, Sarr and many others to give the DOF some elbow room. We definitely need a character like Prass. Our midfield is so lethargic. Running is not in their mentality. We never close down from the front, work as a concerted unit. Choudhry doesn't often know how to progress the ball so ends up knocking it sideways or backwards when he does win it and when a player like Sarr would like it knocked over into space to run onto which is a strength of his. He's left waving his arms about while the ball is back with one of Kabasele, Cathcart and Sierralta who then lump it to concede possession.
Spot on. This season's midfield has been a laughing stock. Hamza bought passion and tackling but very little else. Louza, Kone and Asprilla all far to weak imo. Asprilla needs time to develop admittedly and want him to stay.
They all feel like 3 players for the same role, and we didn't have other midfield roles around them to compensate for their flaws.
Would be a good signing in my opinion. I have just watched the Middlesbrough vs Coventry game and actually said Mowatt looks decent, I wouldn't mind signing him, seeming as Valerien Ismael seemingly likes him. He clearly fits the managers tactics also. Don't think he is available on a free though as I am sure he has a year left on his contract.
Perhaps we should hope Boro go up, because if they don't, they might want to sign him (I know he hasn't been a regular all season, but he's been good recently apparently)
I think he has only ever scored three goals against Celtic who are probably the only team up in Scotland with a defence at a decent level.
He showed more effort and exertion and poise in that run than most of our midfield all season. Austria having a revival of fortunes along with Hungary on the international stage after years of mediocrity. He's exactly the sort of upcoming player we need to build a squad around. Sometimes you have to pay a little to reap the rewards later.
