"Valerien Ismael wants to stab with the Hornets" Our players tend to have that effect on the head coach.
He is known for his counterprass etc, etc. If the manager wants him and @reids rates him lets get him.
Would imagine he's way way too good/expensive for us. But if not then I'm very intrigued about this summer.
Exactly the type of quality we would need for a promotion push. Would have thought he would be beyond us, but if not, then this would be a very good start to the influx of playing staff.
I hear the first offer of £37.52 has been made in response to the asking price of £15m. We are now nervously awaiting their response. If we're unlucky, we have done everything we could do to strengthen this position, luckily I'm sure Gaspar can play this role. Ismael and Manga will understand and I believe they aren't wedded to a particular formation anyway....
From his data (not watched him!) he looks good at getting into 1 vs 1 situations with a good goal rate from them to match
Ok just watched a YouTube video. Wasn't overly impressed. Still would prefer Leaburn as a target man. He's going to be a top player by the look of it.
Youtube makes him look excellent although very left footed. Having said that I remember watching Steve Leo Beleck Youtube video and thinking he looks decent!
Whether or not he is in our price range is less important to me than the fact we actually appear to be interested in a player on the basis that his profile suits the current managers ideas, rather than signing whatever dross Mogi is able to serve up that week irrespective of the fact the current coach might not even play that position.
He looks technically above any of our current midfielders (on par with Louza), but I noted that he looks pretty strong and is willing to get stuck in. Also, his vision on the ball is really good, reminds me somewhat of Odegaard. I would like this one to get done personally.
The only thing this will be is depressing ... Watch him go someone else in the Championship, tear it up and becomes a star in the Prem .... because we wouldn't pay the extra £500k to get him ..... thought i'd start off on a positive haha.... I have no idea if this kid is actually any good
Normally our first choice player always sounds promising, but like you say we will try and low ball the offer before moving onto our 2nd,3rd, 4th and 5th choice targets before settling on some one legged donkey from the Belgium conference
Who we quite often pay far more for than our first choice targets - lets not pretend like Bayo, Kayembe,Okoye etc were cheap.
why is it another Kayembe? Totally different ilk of player. This guy is a physical unit. With no Buyat connections.
Kayembe has had the longest thigh strain in the history of thigh strains this was confirmed by Maurice McWhirter!
