No, decaf is apparently real. Unlike Jacob Rees-Mogg who is entirely made up.

And yet this is what decaff coffee leads to.

Photoshopped from a Victorian lithograph of a toff being punted down the river by his valet.

Who on earth has dinner at lunchtime?

it makes a mockery of the show “Friday Night Dinner”, for one thing.

Decaff coffee is as pointless as non-stick glue.

At school we had dinner ladies.

The show makes a mockery of itself.

I see your dinner ladies and raise you luncheon vouchers.

You have no lunch in your schedule at all! What happens if someone says “let’s do lunch”? And if you have a meal mid-morning, what do you call it? Brinner?

    You’re out to lunch, m8.

Cue Clive posting that he eats whatever he could find in the old dear's larder, or what was left at the local food bank.

I’ve just done a hot sausage roll from the mobile lunch van and a chicken and mushroom pot noodle.

    Absolutely: https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/293459118

Put on to these by my youngest daughter last year as recommended by 90% of Uni students. It was perfect when I had to nip in to the office during lockdown and nowhere was open to buy lunch. That and a bit of fruit afterwards is a perfect quick lunch.

I’m in the office, so it’s a sandwich and one of those pots of Bircher muesli.

I know this will have destroyed me in your eyes, but you can’t rule out that Karl Marx would have ate one had they been available.

Late switch to cheese on toast. There's no fat or calories in thick slabs of extra mature english cheddar....right ?
