Sunday Lunch/Dinner is served at 4pm, rest of the week it's between 12 and 1.

Lunch at primary school always at 12:15 hence body has been programmed to want lunch at 12-12:30ish.
    After 1 if it’s a posh lunch.
Sunday lunch after 2:30 seems wrong to me.

In the office it’s an after midday deal. Already thinking longingly of lunch. Mmm. Lunch.

Unless it’s Christmas Day, in which case all bets are off.

I don't like Marmite but like Twiglets. Work that one out!

Twiglets do not contain Marmite. They use a yeast extract that provides the slight sour taste, this is mixed into the wheat. Personally I love Marmite, but also quite like Vegimite too.

I’m the same on this one.

Every rule on food and drink goes out of the window on Christmas day. Chocolate coins and a shot before lunch? Go on then.

well yes obviously I’m not some sort of mud covered monstrosity Happy

Christmas dinner, although technically a lunch (exception that proves the rule) anytime between 12 and 5:30 after that is weird

Which I gather, is the general idea. It probably sells them better as people who adore Marmite will levitate towards Twiglets. Pretty good marketing.

Chicken, Mushroom and Oxtail are my faves. I haven't actually tried Parsnip, is it difficult to make?

No, in my experience tins of 'homemade' parsnip soup are just as easy to open as all the others

On a slightly related note the marmite flavoured peanut butter is sublime

Marmite = great. Peanut butter = great. But marmite with peanut butter ?? Surely not.
I use the same logic for not squirting ketchup on cheesecake.

Since I've been married, we've gone down the Peruvian route and have our feast on Christmas Eve, Christmas lunch is then leftovers with freshly roasted spuds, it takes the stress out of Christmas morning.

If you had a different subway sub everyday of your life it would take you 55,000 years to go through every combination.

Meatball sub for me. Almost perfection. I also like the Turkey ham and cheese one as well. Cookie if you have a bit of a sweet tooth on the side.

Italian BMT, honey oat, toasted, all the salad apart from yucky tomato. No sauce.

12:30 Rest of the homemade parsnip soup, lump of fresh baguette and a packet of bacon wheat crunchies. I had my breakfast apple about 10:30.

Fridge depleted so it’s shop bought frozen Pizza which I’ve put lots of posh olives on. Don’t like most shop bought pizza but this was yum.

If you get a decentish stonebaked supermarket peperoni one and then stick a load of peppers and other veg on as well as a few herbs and spices they're generally damn good. Tuesday night is pizza night in the Meister household.

No time for a cheeky little w@nk in there ?

Or is that spontaneous because thats the kind of guy you are ?

Because you could quite easily swap it out for the 17.30 exercise bike
