Cars with Roof bars that for a moment make you wonder if you're about to get 3 points on your licence.

Now that makes me curious if local Traffic Cops, drop two points in the last 10 minutes of their shift?

I hate the fact that, for the last month or so, every so often my head/neck feels like it is moving out if place , then suddenly it makes a little click back into place and all is ok again.

I think I may end up being paralysed from the neck down. :doom:

Get that checked out ZZ. Just last weekend a friend told me of one of his colleagues who had a bad neck for a few weeks and now has discovered that the top few vertebrae need to be fused, losing 80% of neck movement. Don't mess with neck issues, give the Doc a call.

As much as I do hate these grammar errors, I also don't like people repeatedly correct them. It is, at the end of the day, a football forum.

A ruined sleeping pattern. I get so miserable and grumpy in the day, but I just can't get any sleep.

I woke up at today 2am for fecks sake.

Also, I have a field trip to Rothamsted Research on Tuesday (boring). Is it worth bothering with, Hertfordshire people?

    Shirts which require cuff links.

Yes, they look distinguished and you can express your zany personality with them, but they are a faff and in the age of buttons, unnecessary, especially when you have to wear them every day and your sleeves are always rolled up by 10am, meaning a good chance of the cuff links being forgotten and sent through the wash.

I like to roll my sleeves up and this is much easier with cuff link shirts as they have looser ends

Somebody showed me a CV today. They described themselves as "an alpha male". Baring in mind this is a research facility, I didn't know we interviewed test subjects.

I personally love it, though I grew up in Harpenden (the town it's in) so I'm probably a bit bias. The area is gorgeous but I doubt you'll see that side of it. It's also one of the oldest and (at least, it was) best agricultural research stations in the UK. There were protests there a few years back about their growth of GM crops. Hope you enjoy it!
