Yes it did seem Hamer had more to do particularly second half tbf. Probably lacking a goal scorer . I think the WO thought Jaden Philogene was called Jaden !
For all of the hype surrounding Rosenior, Val did him tactically today, and we did a bit of a job on Hull with some luck. Our midfield nullified their midfield and stopped them from playing through the middle for large parts of the game. We forced Hull to go wide and then doubled up on their wingers, and we were pretty happy for Hull to get the ball in from the wings as we cleared everything.
Disliked every single Watford team of the last two and a half seasons. And now finally I am beginning to really like this team, can’t be bothered to get into anything tactical tonight but I can say they are fairly entertaining to watch, they make you proud and they try hard. With just those basics, I’m fully behind them and find the team likeable again for the first time in years. Thank you, VI.
Colm : I hear we’re getting relegated now, Father? Should we all be believing in a relegation battle now? What's the forums position? I'm so busy down on the farm I won't have much time for the ol' extreme pessimism . Father Ted : What? Mrs. Carberry : [wildly gesticulating] Good for you, Father! Good for you! Somebody finally had the guts to stand up and say it! They come over here, after our jobs and our women, fecking Holebas! Colm : It's the mid table he's after! Father Ted : I'm not after mid table! I'm not a pozzite! Mrs. Carberry : I don't care so long as I can have a go at the team! They're the ones who invented Watfordyness!
What an acquisition Kayembe is starting to look like. Still only 25, his best years lie ahead. You just pray he spends them at Vicarage Road. Those who never doubted Bayat will have a skip in their step this Sunday. I feel like I'm walking taller.
I want to know what Hoedt had for his breakfast yesterday. Absolutely imperious in defence and scored THAT goal.
I had two thoughts, which were how good our team play was at times, good passing and energetic retrieval when the ball was lost. The team is not there yet, but really improving. The second was the pang of regret I feel when I see the opposition with gold scarves. I wish we still played in gold, rather than yellow.
Kayembe looking good. We just need to get Kalu back in the window, who is now playing well and fit. They are looking a snip for the £7m we paid for them
Pre planned apparently! https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...aid-watford-spotted-hull-keepers-risk-taking/
My Dutch mate's breakfast of choice was, what I can only describe as, 100 & 1000's sandwiches (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hagelslag) and slices of extra mature gouda.
Oh yes!!! I was there. My mum and dad drove up for the game too. We sat in the stand, and had a few 'issues' with the not-so-friendly natives...
Come on now, he is not really 25. More dodgy documents from Africa via Belgium. At least he plays and scores unlike the 38yr old Kalu.
It's a new level of team spirit that's allowed our captain to eat one of his teammates for breakfast (albeit giving him the same finishing prowess)
Yellow and red was only a short phase. Few others clubs use it because it’s hideous. But it’s what each of us grows up with, I suppose.
