True that. Bayo would have been the difference if he hadn’t been “hounded out” by our horrible fans. The poor striker signed for above market value to benefit the Bayat brothers. Bad bad fans.
It was always a huge reach by our fans that Louza was the missing link, given he'd played well in all of about 4 games before his injury.
Indeed. The hyping of Louza was one of the strangest things we’ve seen from our fan base in recent seasons, and that’s saying something considering the oddballs we have onboard the leaky ship.
Yes It’s that really . Just makes it more of a farce if he goes and the likelihood of us going up is so slim . Or if he is gonna go now he’s replaced by someone who the club have lined up for next season .
Why don’t you take what I said completely out of context ? Do you actually think Araujo has been better than Bayo ?
Everyone of our attacking players are "ballers" unfortunately this means that they take too many touches in the attacking 1\3 or penalty area which means that they either get tackled or their shot is blocked or that they get crowded out.
Araujo hasn’t had a chance yet. Bayo was signed to benefit agent friends. Araujo may also prove a dud but your insinuation that Bayo was of value and only left because he was hounded out disgusts me. For goodness sake man please put criticism where it is deserved and not on the fans who have to endure our dreadful owner.
Incredible isn’t it, they’ve done everything they can to defend Pozzo’s man, but the last line of defence of injuries and playing better opposition has collapsed like a house of cards in front of their eyes. We’ve just drawn at home with a full strength team to a mid table side. One can only imagine the mental gymnastics that will be going on now.
I tend to agree. Bilic has been terrible, to be honest, but the fact that he's about the 9th manager in a row who has, it's clearly something about the powers we give the coach and the way we work beyond the coach's remit. We will sack Bilic, someone else will come in, we'll have a 3 or 4 game bounce if we are lucky and then revert to type.
Sarr was ****. Araujo was ****. Davis was ****. Pedro was ****. The home atmosphere was ****. Not much works very well at the club right now.
Dont people know Preston won the league in 1890. We’ve done very well to hold a club like that to a goalless draw. Today was the most predictable result of the season. I like Bilic but his time is up now. He’s not going to energise us enough to grab a playoff place. We need to win at least 7 from the final 11. That’s just not going to happen unless something radical happens now. It all depends on Gino’s thoughts. If he’s given up on this season, then Bilic probably sees out the season, but if he wants one last throw of the dice, then it’s a new coach with the hopeful bounce that goes with it.
I think individually they are good enough to be better than what we are seeing. They are however poorly coached and go out each game with no plan or direction from a Coach who has clearly given up on tactics. Asprilla was the best player on the pitch today and he hasn't been in the team for over two months. Says an awful lot on how much planning our "coach" puts into the down time.
Ok if you like but just demonstrates how blinkered you are that you can’t separate the transaction from the player . You cant even admit Araujo has been very poor .
I don’t understand the disappointment. We played the best I’ve seen all season! We have to start Britt! The guy is on fire, did you see what he done in turkey!? I’m sitting in Moons and hearing Watford fans saying they want Slav out?! They don’t know what they’re talking about, he bleeds Watford, we just need to bring back Deeney as assistant manager and then we’ll push on. who doesn’t agree? thoughts?
Yeah, especially as he's not the first coach and these are mainly not the first set of players to show this contempt for their job.
I took my grandson, I expect a letter in the post next week from the government citing Child cruelty!
Did anyone else see the poor travelling Araujo fan club in the lower Rous, at the rookery end side? Loudly cheered every goal he scored in the warm up, then sat looking worried for the first half and depressed after he got hooked at half time
I feel like this is the last days of Rome for the Pozzos. Their luck is well and truly up and the long history of dreadful decision making is finally coming back to haunt them.
There's a wonderful simplicity to Asprilla's game. Don't think I've seen him do a single bit of flashy skill, just cuts inside and gets his head up. Feel like Pedro could learn a thing or two from him. It baffles me that Bilic has omitted him from the squad. I'd be starting him every week and build a side around him. Aside from some glaring misses, he's barely put a foot wrong all season
Spot on. Yeah Cathcart’s passing was poor but there was one move in the first half where he got the ball deep in their half and Sarr made a run… about as far away as he get from him and ended up on the edge of the D, marked by 2 of their players. Utterly brainless.
One positive was Asprilla who turned the game for us , best player on the pitch by a long chalk. I hate the way we sack managers , but Bilic needs to go so we can hopefully new manager bounce our way into the playoffs. We have the best XI and squad in the division. No more excuses for Bilic as they ve all been fit for a few games now .
