    Too handsome for a centre-back, will be heading for the mirror break rather than water. Someone needs to rough him up a bit so he looks more Steve Bruce than Steve Jones.

    The difference in distribution Hoedt and Porteous will give us will be shocking to those who haven't seen them play.

    Hopefully our passing will be a bit more decisive through the lines, rather than side to side across the back.

    Still desperately missing a left back and creative midfielder though, or it'll all be for nothing. I think we're in a very similar situation to the year we signed Gueds, then shot up the league.
