Let’s not f*ck about here. Dennis and Sarr have had their agent pull them out. No point risking injury for a relegated club that you’re leaving. Likely the same with King. A front 3 of Joao Pedro, Sema and Kalu. I said Saturday was the worst line-up I’ve seen under Pozzo-rule. I’d like to withdraw that claim knowing what’s coming tomorrow.
Players are as well. The ones who arent moving on arent all suddenly injured they are just pulling a sicky as they cant be bothered. Pathetic. May as well play youth/fringe players. Sema upfront, jesus wept.
Have to say, Burnley and Leeds fans will be spitting at that/our lineup, and fairplay - I imagine we'd be doing the same in the circumstances. Don't get me wrong; I wouldn't base any sporting or commercial decisions for one second on what might be most favourable for another team, but at the same time, we don't have to go very far back to remember how much Arsenal took the piss with their lineups against Villa and us, and how costly and annoying that was. We've basically guaranteed Everton survival (even more so than playing us did already) with this, and that's a sad thing for the wider world of football (but not our entirely-up-in-the-air-as-it-stands automatic promotion chances next season).
Maybe we can set up some sort of boo-ing symphony based around the cadences of Z-Cars. Both teams would definitely feel 'at home'. Sorry, what's that I'm hearing? Most of our squad (and hierarchy if the way they're going about things) don't give a flying 5uck about the club or its history? Leave all that soppy perlaver to the fans? The seemingly inevitable denouement of the Pozzo 'players are for trading, nothing more or less' model.
Also naming Nkoulou in the 'out of the game through injury' list is some impressive trolling from the Stabs, tbf.
If Pedro doesn't make it, could be looking at: Foster Ngakia Cathcart Samir Kabasele Masina Kayembe Sissoko Gosling Sema Kalu Banter FC, the team for me! Can't even give minutes to Baah as he's on international duty and Forde has picked up an injury. Sierralta will still be unable to get a start, obvs and Etebo must cost us money every time he plays.
But will Gino and Dux be there now - I always felt they might swerve as they did at Palace but why would they- let alone us fans going
A lot would say some of those have been missing on the pitch anyway ! Sarr and Dennis not being played as we need to flog them in the summer ?
Leeds and Burnley have taken points off us recently so they cannot complain too much though . Tbh the ones coming in might be more committed?
What a farce. Don't we have any youngsters who can come in? Can Pollock and Dale Bashiru play having completed their loans or are they unavailable?
Unfortunately players can only play if they return during a transfer window (with the exception of recalling a goalkeeper in an emergency).
Seems not - how daft eh? https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...ning-loan-players-cannot-play-premier-league/
As I said at the top nobody in our club gives a single care about these final 3 games. Don’t waste you time “getting behind the boys”. They don’t care, and they don’t respect your unwavering support one iota. The only reason of any worth to attend the game would be to show this vile organisation exactly what you think of them, as well as our carefree rich players and our oddball manager. Otherwise just let Pozzo see the empty seats. And please please please don’t sign “here’s to you Pozzo family”.
Fair enough if we were mid table and in some kind of form but tbh I am not sure whoever plays will make much difference! We’re crap regardless of who plays .
Here's a snap of him playing for a Slovakian team in the 16/17 season at *checks notes* 18 years old:
Good god almighty. What is the bench going to look like? Is Etebo OK? Bachmann, Morris, U23, U23, U23, U23, U23.
Delighted with this news. None of those injured players (except JP and Cucho) deserve to wear the f****** shirt anyway. Play the bloody kids. They’ll probably get battered but at least they’ll give a s*** about it.
