Brentford really are the new Stoke. By contrast, Louza by name, Louza by nature - did any of his set-pieces manage to beat the first man? Also, how did he miss that chance at the end? Dennis continues to be soooo selfish, but has still been our best player this season. That goal should ensure we'll get a decent fee for him in the summer - silver lining.

Hodgson is stealing a living from the club. From you and I. Money we all work hard to earn to be able to afford to watch our beloved club. There is no way this odious dinosaur should be anywhere near our club. No wonder he insisted on being called our manager rather than our Head Coach. He patently isn’t doing any coaching to the squad he inherited. We’ve not improved one iota. There are others stealing livings too. Some of the mercenary players who patently don’t care for the club. The recruitment department who steal a living by signing repeated dross and feathering the nests of their agent friends. How have we come to this? On FA cup semi final weekend, we are reminded that three years ago we had our day in the sunshine at Wembley. Ever since we have been in descent, bar a few good months under the ray of light that was Xisco. We have become a loathsome club, run by loathsome individuals, full of loathsome half-hearted players and coached (don’t make me laugh) by a dinosaur who should never have been dragged out of retirement. Ten straight home defeats. Pitiful. Pathetic. And so hurtful too because it’s the club we all care about.

We go again. Roy's making us more solid every week. Almost kept half a clean sheet today. Hopefully he takes Big Ben under his wing and we can have Foster as Player Manager next season.
It didn't matter if we drew today. We lost our relegation battle when we lost v Leeds. Today a win would have been a stay of execution.
Wasn't at the game today but sounds like we had chances to win. Brentford took their chances and that's really the only difference between the two sides on the day. The owner and the manager can't physically put the ball into the net. Gino has assembled a side with talent and grit, whilst Roy has given them the gameplan to create the chances. Individual errors have cost us, but plenty to take heart from. It's not over yet and the players have made it clear via their social media accounts that they are not giving up. If we all pull together for these last few games, we can all be part of sonething special. Let the media write us off. Let the pundits say we are down. We know different. We are Watford. We are used to defying the odds and proving the 'experts' wrong. I'm proud of our team, proud of our club, proud of our fans and for every minute left of this season I'll be cheering on our heroes in gold to let them know I believe in them as we all fight to the finish to pull off this great escape! Do you blame Roy? Any coach would take our gig,easy few months and then the sack with a huge pay off and no one in the coaching world will think any the less of you. Gino and Duxbury thought they'd cracked it and became complacent and are either too arrogant or too stupid or both to have the balls to own up and change their ways. It's not helped by a percentage albeit rapidly decreasing in size,who think the owner can turn the seas to Halls Tonic Wine. There needs to be an outpouring of something to wake Gino from his sleep walk.
There is a solid reason why we are going down, and lot of smaller reasons. Solid reason is the last minute goals we still concede. That was completely avoidable - just run and block it. Nope, freedom to do what he liked. Brentford deserved it on the balance of play, a much better team than we have been for many a season. Young, hungry players who want to win and fight till the end. We have a load of OAP, twilight shirkers who come in for 90mins, do what they want then pick up a paycheque. Vic was a dead zone, with no noise apart from our goal. Looks like that's that then. It's not mathematical yet, but it will be very soon. I just cannot be bothered to rant and rave for six paragraphs anymore. They don't care, why should we? If they cared, somebody would of stopped that winner going in, but to be fair even a draw would of done very little to help our cause. First half was just as lethargic as ever, the first goal was a total joke. Here, have a shot at goal with no Watford player in five yards of them. Anyone busting a gut to get back? Nope. We have achieved one thing today however. Yet another HOME DEFEAT and another RECORD BROKEN. You could not make this stuff up. Worst defense in the league in front of our own fans. I nearly ended up going today - glad I didn't. Heard the game on 3CR and even that was depressing. Where we do we go from here apart from down? Do we have a plan to fix the rot that has set into this club? I highly doubt we do. Dux will just spout the usual crap when our relegation is finally confirmed in a week or so. I hate this season, more than any other I have witnessed. 19/20 was bad. especially with the Pandemic, but at least we tried to save ourselves and took it to the final day, even though we played poorly. This bunch of cowards will not even shed a tear. Cannot wait to see the back of half of them, problem is, most of them will be here next season as well, bar the highest sellers. I don't see the Watford I shed a tear for at Hillsbrough in 04/05. I just see eleven strangers who cannot be bothered anymore. GT and EJ built this club on a unity of family and togetherness. I have seen nothing this season to even try to save that. Such a shame.
