I thought East Midlands accents were broadly similar. Are they not, then? ;)

I want you inside of me Margaret.

Favourite episode, top 5 at least.

    Start breakin’ bricks wet nips!

The first episode of the latest series of Sunny is great.

For the more nerdy types among us, "Legend of Vox Machina" on Amazon has been a quite enjoyable watch. It's based on the long running "Critical Role" webcast's first campaign and they've done nice job with it. It's quite raunchy in places though, so be prepared!

I think they have made the correct decision in reducing the length of the series to 8 episode's as each one is gold.

    Disappointing lack of McPoyles though.

After finishing "The Sinner" I'd like to recommend anyone watching it skips episodes 4, 5 & 6 as they are for padding only and add absolutely nothing. The rest of it was great.

For zombie fans out there, Everybody is Dead on Netflix. It's a Korean series which has been dubbed but I really enjoyed it

Foreign films are always best watched in the original language with subtitles, I find.

People may be tempted to watch The Fear Index on Sky/Now. I saw most of the first episode and it’s badly acted and uninteresting cobblers.

The thing revolves around some apparent genius who is also a darned hunk. Genius? He so badly lacks animation it gives the impression that he couldn’t so much as solve one of those word searches your Granny likes. He’s a two planker for sure.

His wife is clearly up to something as is everyone else, but so transparently so they should all have long moustaches to twiddle. He’s being pursued by a Zombie Mark Knopfler, which of course would be highly alarming, if a little MOR.

The Swiss/French? detective is so clearly channelling Columbo it’s painful, though less so than most everything else.

    Boo to uninteresting cobblers.

Sadly, I disagree. I'm 3 episodes in and so far there's something missing from season 15 for me. Just feels like the show has lost its spark.

I forgot to mention that even The Fear Index’s trailer makes it look pants.

Wife started watching Cheer, whilst I browsed these forums despondently next to her.

I'm not sure if the depressing state of the club is to blame, but ended up getting sucked in and actually quite enjoyed it.

It's a bit like the Last Chance U, but competitive cheerleading (I'd probably call it synchronised team gymnastics) is a better sport than American Football (not difficult, I realise).

It’s a different show to what it once was but I’d say this is an improvement on the last couple of series. It’s not got that grotty, ramshackle feel of peak Sunny but it’s still got laughs in my humble opinion.

Finally persuaded the Mrs to try The Boys and only three episodes in and I can't wait to get it back on later. I honestly can't fault anything, a fantastic idea that's been executed brilliantly.

I should have listened to you. It was very unsatisfying. Slow and annoying. Would not recommend.

Watched the first episode and will carry on. But it is slow and feels like someone very deliberately pitched it’s Black Mirror meets the Truman Show.

It needs to go great places quickly from here or it’s going to get panned.

Had 'someone' 'approached' Trey & Matt over his name as it has all the hallmarks of a big FU to whomever it was - much the same as the arrival of the Black family? I wonder if this is related to the fact that MTV are involved in the show's production now?

As an aside, they had the latest show ('City People') on the TV in my local Chinese chippy. One of the cooks (bosses?) noticed how much my son and I were trying not to laugh at 'bits' of this. When the ep finished, as we collected our food, he pointed at the TV and announced "Farkin' Fujanese C 0 cksuckers"...

I understand that. I didn't really get the premise of the show. Having not read the books before I struggled with the concept of the weak supposed comedic lead character.

I read all the books. The premise is, a giant, loner ex soldier who is double hard, travels around small town America, where toothless hicks pick fights with his 6'5", hulking frame and get broken up.
