    That was Hampton Pier yesterday.

There's a car park on the sea front / harbour at Broadstairs. A few people thin it's fun (and can afford to) to park on it for high tide during a storm when 'impressive' waves break over it. Twice I've seen a football sized lump of chalk/flint end up going through someone's windscreen (closely followed by half a ton of Kent seawater)...

We are very exposed at 210m above sea level in the chilterns with a large flat field next to us. Lost 3 roof tiles and a honeysuckle bush already. Lucky the trees aren't in leaf but they are still taking a hell of a battering.

Main news here is the cat is unhappy the cat flap is shut. Can’t hear the howling gale above his howling.

You chaps up country seem to have it worse than us. It's just hosed down and is pretty blustery but (touch wood) nothing all that unusual.

Lots of videos online of how to turn decking into a gate. Get your tool belt on and get cracking.

If you can make an instruction video as you go that would be smashing.

I'm not going out there - it's snapped three 100mm fence posts.

Neighbour’s bin is over! I repeat, bin is over! Carnage.

Edit: Neighbour has been out and righted bin. However, it just fell against their car and she’s put it upright in exactly the same position. Madness.

Edit 2: Bin is over again!

Come friendly Eunice and flatten out this stinking corrupt cesspool, so we can start again with a clean slate.

Neighbours bins were not taken by binmen this morning, due to containing non-plastic recyclables.

Neighbour in protest did not put said bin away.

Neighbours rubbish is now flying down the street.

A large piece of plastic sheeting - at least 5ft square, I'd say - has just blown into my garden.

Someone's gazebo descended from the sky like a parachute and smashed into our front gate. It had it's tangled aluminium frame still attached to it as well.

No damage was done to our property except maybe a few minor scratches to our metal gates paintwork. However had the gate not stopped the gazebos progress it might of smashed straight through our lounges bay window.

If you live anywhere near Aylesbury that will be part of the outlaws hot tub enclosure roofing.

I've just been out fixing our fence before our open house tomorrow. Luckily an easy fix but the fence on the otherwise is not looking great.

    Read more carefully next time.

He said Johnny will be our new manager. Think he’s currently on loan somewhere.

I think it was positive thinking that stopped it, rather than the gate.
