Pukki took a knock in the first half and has just gone off. He's icing his knee.

I hate this club. Could be 5 points behind Norwich with the chance to make it by Wednesday morning. Useless *****. I just want to win a trophy!!

Muff are picking up points, which isn't. And their third goal had an offside earlier in the move.

Ugh, I was thinking initially that we should all be Muff supporters for a day, but after this, can they just draw?

Would we get 3 goals after having a man advantage?

Based on the Brentford game, no, we'd score none and also concede an equaliser

I'd be surprised if that red was overturned. It was dangerous even though it was accidental.

Sarr up against a makeshift left back. You never know. Our makeshift was the difference today.

Well, on the one hand we have looked better since the shift away from 4-4-2, but on the other, our strikers are out of form and the guy who should have nodded home the winner that day is seemingly AWOL...

My concern is that we get slaughtered by Norwich.
Is our confidence at a low point right now? Is this why we are playing so poorly.
Do we attack or put the shutters up and hope for a point?
    Does it matter? Not really.

Primary objective at Norwich is to try and get a point I think

If we beat Millwall at home and don't lose the other 3 games we are mathematically promoted

But we didn’t have decent strikers and that contributed to an average performance, which is what we’re talking about. As you said previously, we had to rely on last ditch challenges. Now you’re saying they rarely troubled us. Make your mind up. Look, you remember it as a very good performance and I remember a game where they dominated possession and had more that twice as many attempts on our goal. Clearly, I’m not going to change your mind and your not going to change mine.

Turning up would be a start !

We need to get an early goal or start positively as than is when we do well.

Haven't given up hope of getting something out of this. Playing 70 minutes with ten men is draining, hopefully their reserve left back is crap and Pukki is injured.

We simply can't start with Navarro and Lazar, we have to do anything else, including considering going back to three at the back. Fingers crossed Ngakia and Masina are ok . Worrying that Chalobah wasn't even in the squad, feels unlikely he'll be back on Tuesday. If so, for god's sake move Hughes back to where he's excelled this season and bring Gosling in for Sanchez. If Cleverley can manage it, he has to play in the middle.

Zinckernagel has been a big disappointment so far but Sema is miles out of form so would maybe give him a chance out wide. Really don't know what to do upfront with Pedro so out of sorts - Gray?

I suppose, but I don't know if planning for 3 draws against three separate teams every comes into the thinking. It wouldn't be a bad result on paper against a good team, but would a draw do us much good? Would mean that we're 9 ahead of Brentford with them having 2 games in hand and a better goal difference, ergo it'd be back in their hands again

You say that, but...does Xisco genuinely see Navarro as a better option than Ngakia? Decided to play Navarro at RB against QPR and shunt Ngakia out to the left, yet decided to put Navarro in the squad rather than Ngakia today. Both sides will probably be having nightmares about the opposition attackers (well, just Sarr in our case), a tight cagey game I reckon

Brentford only have one game in hand I think which is Rotherham.

The rest of their games are either before ( Bournemouth) us or the same time (Tuesday playing Cardiff , v us and on the last day )

I see, I just assumed our game against Norwich was before their game as it's at 6!

    No problem!

I was a bit surprised they are kicking off at the same time tbh.

As today showed are failing to take advantage of each other’s slip ups.

Only time recently we all won was last week .

Ngakia RB and Wilmot LB is a very fine replacement duo .

Poor Ben, really thought he'd be our star centre-back this season, yet he's had to settle for cameo appearances off the bench in various positions...

I think the only time I remember Cathcart playing full-back was off the bench against Brighton after Britos got sent off...he was being rushed back from injury and didn't play for about 6 months afterwards...

We are the worst possible place for young players to come to. If you’re under 21 we will almost certainly stunt your development and ruin your career.
