I'm still waiting for feedback from my interview @SkylaRose. I didn't give up 3 hours of my Sunday, prepare a 50 slide presentation and hire that dancing troupe for nothing.
Unfortunately they baulked at my salary demands and felt they could get someone to do the job for next to nothing. Fat chance...as if !!
If you remember the job advert stated payment was given in forum "likes" and gratitude. You asked for ten pence per hour which is way above the advertised going rate.
I had a feeling I'd messed mine up when I asked if the mod team had ever tried to do the washing up without washing up liquid. It's not pyramid selling, I promise.
I was prepared to be negotiated down to 8p if you'd pushed me. I already get more likes and gratitude from Jumbo than I can cope with.
It's not deleted the account is still valid. If a forum member does not post for x-amount of days then the forum "drops" the account from the listings. When the user posts again it gets pushed back to search query again. Probably an exercise in reserving memory.
I can still see him on my profile but that may be because i followed him as a superfan. His last post was 23/4/21 during happier times in a thread about how people would celebrate our promotion. As this appointment has been made on International Happiness day, I would have thought Jumbo would have been a slam dunk for the role

That took me back to my childhood. Although it was “La Vache Qui Rit” rather than Dairylea - I seem to remember they did flavoured ones? Do they still exist?
Well there’s a couple of reasons I remember them as “La Vache Qui Rit”: 1. I think, when I first tried them, it was when my mum brought some back from France so that’s how I knew them 2. I am very fancy when it comes to my processed cheese snack names.
