With all due respect to Genk, how long could they keep him? The Premiership is a massive pull for 90% of players, especially when you're playing at a low standard like Belgian football. Fair play to Genk though if they can squeeze an extra couple of million out of us which would be my guess as to what they're trying to do.
Why the **** would we be looking for another central midfielder, anyway!? Surely the one position, even with the switch to 3 at the back, that we have absolutely no need for reinforcements in?

I'd say that it's the position that we are in the second least need of reinforcing, after centre backs. We only have one out-and-out attacking central midfielder in Abdi after Jurado's departure, and unless he shows a massive improvement on last season he could be following next year.
